There was not one symptom I couldn't relate to. You did a really good job at verbalizing these weird feelings. Great to hear your depersonalisation is getting weaker :)

Aro Amygdala awww thank you so much it’s so difficult to try and verbalise isn’t it. Sorry to hear you’ve experienced them all too, it really helps to know we’re not alone though 🙏 I hope things are improving for you

I know this video is a few years old, but thank you for this. I can relate to so many of these symptoms. I've had anxiety issues my whole life, but the last two months, my depersonalization has been the worst it's ever been.

I also thought there was something wrong with my eyes

I think so many of us have thought that. I got my eyes tested again as I was so worried but every test I’ve had so far they’ve said my eyes are fine

I'm very much experiencing these moments of late. You are very informative here and it's wonderful.

Hidden Truth that is so kind of you to say, thank you. It’s so difficult to explain isn’t it. I know so many people that thought they had eye sight problems but actually when tested their eye sight was fine. It’s really interesting that a lot of us have felt the same though and I’m glad sharing this is raising some awareness

I told my therapist I was experiencing this and they didn’t acknowledge it. It’s so scary sometimes, I just ‘teleport’ places as I say. Like it’s in auto pilot and then sometimes you can take control. It’s so so strange and I go through episodes where it’s really bad and it interferes with my school work. Like if nothings real then what’s the point in functioning normally ?

Phoebe Dear Hey thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and comment. Sorry to hear you’re having such a difficult time with it but I went through similar experiences so you’re not alone in that. It took me a long time to find therapists/counsellors that’s had heard of this but there are out there. My doctor originally diagnosed me with depression even after I said I thought it was a dissociative disorder and sadly they just don’t get trained in this. What country are you in if you don’t mind me asking? I’m in the UK so can share where I went if that would help

    Hi
I'm really confused cause I don't really know if I have DPDR or something else... sinds almost 3 months after a shock event in my life I'm started feeling like my house.my work place my street my family, friends and every single place I visited before strange and first time I went there and also my memories and everything in my life like doesn't happened and also music i loved and every detail in my life...myself my personality like not myself anymore... and also that i feel that everything around me is weird and like im not living in life and environment around me like trees and everything so strange! It's like I forget what normal is and who I was as a person before..
And also related my sensation of weather and environment and seasons?
And when I talk it's not seem like me
And my head like it's not mine
    Feeling like I'm not here...

Hello, sorry to hear you’re feeling this way. I can relate to some of those when I was experiencing strong derealisation and depersonalisation. I’d definitely suggest speaking with your doctor or medical professional so you can find out what it is your experiencing. To help my dissociation symptoms I found that speaking with counsellors and therapists have helped me so much and things can get better
