Enjoyed this romantic comedy,actually well written (better than the stuff belched out of Hollywood today) Also enjoyed ' the old folks' getting in some romance as well!! Plus any excuse to see Charles Starrett in something besides Durango Kid is a bonus!👍
Austin Strong deserves credit for this wonderful Screen Play! Or his Family should see his excellent values in the way the story goes. Pretty nice Movie!
The opening scene (1:19) with Irene Harvey looking at the stars, she looks like a young Tippi Hedren from the 1963 movie, The Birds! .. minus the dimples 😉
Funny thing is she's doing whats called "kameleon girlfriend". Pretending the same interests to catch his eye. While it will succeed for the main goal, eventually reverting back to true colors will cause it to all fail.
A high school grad selling ashcans makes half the weekly wage of a pediatric intern and vaudville pays almost twice as much as doc earns? Anyway, the newlyweds would be, by 2020 conversion, "struggling" on $850 ($45 1936) a week. What's the problem?

In the Dead Sea Scrolls YaHu is in the prophets names. YaHu is Deliverance/Salvation is YaHu-SHaH. It was never Jesus, that’s a bad translation. He is also the Messanger/ King YHWH or in the English is the Angel of the Lord SEEN FACE TO FACE, because YHWH cannot be seen face to face. This is an extraordinary character. Judges 13 amongst many. Paul in the NT scriptures admits He is of the Tribe of Benjamin and he ( Paul/ Shaul) in Acts 21 was taking a Nazarite vow which includes animal sacrifice. And took it to prove that he was a keeper of the Torah, it says so!!!!! So many people are being brainwashed. In Acts 18 when Paul came for the Holy Days to Jerusalem, He took a nazarite vow then also. It doesn’t say nazarite vow but if they seen when you shave your head and give offerings and everything a nazarite vow consists of then they would see it is the Nazarite vow, but they put the cart before the horse. You have to know the TaNaK and pray have His Spirit or we can’t understand the scriptures. And the Messiah will reveal Himself if we seek to really want to know the Truth and a close intimate relationship with Him. But too many also think they don’t have to repent. We must repent and obey Him and have a circumcised heart or we are not His. We have too many idols in this world, the materialism is astounding, people will take a vac’s and be rejected rather than rejecting all man has to offer. Nimrod is a picture of the anti-messiah and he will go into the temple shortly after it is built and defile it and go after all the believers to kill them. We had matzo ball soup and spring cleaning and was called mashugahs and didn’t really know what it meant but that we had better stop what we were doing. LOL tragic comedy. I didn’t know anything except was taken to church and they were mostly hypocrites. I became a hypocrite for some years also. Or what I call a professional backsliders. Irene Hervey was a real beauty. I was definitely born 50 years too late. Women these days aren't near as lovely!
