How different would you say is the day to day tasks described in this video to that of a business analyst. It does seem like you are doing a form of requirements gathering and creating diagrams to relay though requirements. Would you say that research portion of UX design is very similar to that of a BA type of work
There is a lot of overlap, which is why I was easily able to add the skill set. If you look up BA skills and activities, you find things like usability (non-functional requirements) & prototyping... If you look up UX skills and activities you'll find things requirements definition and feature scope.
