- When boss is aiming at the ground it is guaranteed sandstorm (probably). Stay safe everyone.
It is the most fun I've had playing FE they certainly put greater effort designing this chapter compared to daddy Sombron's fight. Maddening is tailored for endgame but if you wanna see some special convos just run a normal playthrough.
Some notable units I used:
Framme+Corrin for ice vein,
Saphir+Chrom+Speedtaker,
Lapis (or anyone fast enough)+Edelgard+Speedtaker & Lunar Brace+
Veyle+Soren+Vantage & Hold-out
Nel+Tiki but she still couldn't do anything without Engage+
Celine+Byleth+Speedtaker for rescue and long-ranged Thoron
Zelestia+Lyn
Easy way is to bait Timerra to the first island, Ivy to second island, and then go Northeast from the third island, because going Southeast is useless.

If Evil royals are the opposite version of themselves, why is Evil Alfred not good?
It’s the fact alfred was turned into a corrupted, if you read his lines in this chapter…you will find him going into madness about how he wants everything to go back to normal.
there's also the tone of the xenologue royals crit quotes
like apparently Evil!Alcryst surprisingly has diff crit quotes compared to our own Alcryst
like Evil!Celine? if she crits you, which's very likely on hard/maddening FX6 due to Edelgaurd emblem having the highest crit rate, you'll prob hear "Isn't this your lucky day?" or "its teatime" but the diff?
Evil!Celine's sounds completely diff in tone compared to our celine-
even Evil Alfred's crit quotes are diff from ours, his "Scatter like petals" and "Wither and Fall" sound way more Tired and Serious compared to our Alfred who's more confident and energetic
Evil!Alcryst got like 6% at highest on hard, Evil!Timerra's got about 7% on hard. Evil!Celine in the final chap got legit 17% so she's the highest chance to crit meanign its likely one my have heard her quotes.
I can't wait for people to upload the fell royals crit quotes and compare them to the good royals
Because regular Alfred is good, easy.
Evil Alfred secretly has the good str and spd stats but he lowers his stats to disguise himself as Regular Alfred
He takes the royals abilities if you let em die to him he also procs them 100% above normal so keep that in mind

@@rotatingapple713 you can always try nuking timerra early as for ivy as long as you immediately head north will always end up fighting you the problem might be alcryst as he is smackdab in the middle island which nel tries to eat early I solved it by basically sacrificing a flier but there's probably better ways to get him moving early

Eeyup. It made my first run especially perilous, cause he ended up getting Luna, Sol and Sandstorm.
At any moment he could get insta-kill amounts of extra damage, make my tanky units as frail as Xenologue 1-4 Nil, heal the damage I *just* dealt to him, or any combination of the above.

@@stefanfr13we're lucky the devs knew to give fogado's personal skill instead of his class skill...for those weird ones who let that happen lmao
worst part is on hard and above he has a pretty high chance of dual proccing Sol+Luna(34%), which's literally Aether if it was a single hit per attack and not 2 like it is in ikes games-
or Sol+Sandstorm which admittedly isn't that bad on hard. I'm glad he can't triple proc cuz that'd be even worse. legit the only other game that has dual or more procs like this is Radiant Dawn wrath+resolve-
if you ever see Luna+Sandstorm your units most likely very dead unless they dodge.
I was lucky I figured out that Wolf Knight Merrin w/maxed out edelgaurd emblem and Atrocity could nuke the boss cuz everyone else including Alear was useless(likely since he just had Byleth emblem and Canter+, no +atk skill or attacking emblem)
I can confirm 3H emblem Atrocity skill's deff the way to go if your units can't take a hit vs Nel or make a dent in him.
Panette deff an mvp on hard with Pair up, Vantage++ and max ike emblem(Wrath). she's really consistent for the entire 6 chapters. Merrin as well with max Edelgaurd Wrath and Vantage++ during the later chaps when her stats catch up

I can confirm Wrath and Vantage++ is deff a very viable strat for FX hard. Nel's legit just as useless as Nil, but she's a very useful tiki emblem user despite low uptime.
@@stefanfr13 I somehow beat him when he had just those three skills. Thinking back, I would let that happen again over having to deal with Diamant and the multiple emblems he summoned.
It's impossible not let him kill Timera
if you go northeast (towards Diamant) instead of southeast Timerra will fly to you, so you can get some extra turns to defeat her. Alear can actually survive sandstorm using a mechanic you learned after chapter 22. Or just don’t use Alear to attack the boss without holdout or Tiki 😅
