    It's A LOT tougher then they make it look. Stand up fight a 850 GBFT is a massive undertaking.

    Now those are real bft! None of these west coast nursery blufins that are littering CZcams lately.a San Diego fishermen wouldnt know what to do if they hooked up to one of our NE giants! Great video guys.making North Atlantic fishermen proud☝

      U don’t know how hard it is and how much patience it takes I went tuna fishing 53 times last year and hooked up once and lost it!!!

      Because it's a circle hook which can be safely left in fish. It's not unheard of to catch tuna with a circle hook still in corner of fishes mouth. You may do damage trying to remove a circle ....just leave it there

    Using wrong rod buddy. Bent rod on stand up is tough. No leverage.

      They always leave the hook in there mouth when releasing a giant.you ever try to take a wiper off a vw wile its going down the highway? Lol.its very dangerous and difficult to get the hook out of a giants mouth at boat side
