Just got mine a few days ago, and am loving it. I see it as a slightly budgety version of the Civivi Conspirator. Mine had significant button lock stick, but I do see that as a nitpick and may even be safer for a button lock. I have cut a finger choil on the blade and also ground down the pocket clip to exactly where you pointed out on the video. I also discovered that you can remove the thumbstuds if you find them in the way of the cutting path. Costs $93 Australian - a really good deal.

I bought this knife because I love the Civivi Conspirator, and I was not disappointed. It has enough of the conspirator vibe to be in my wheelhouse, but the differences are enough that the Sachse stands on its own merits as an outrageous value of a budget knife.

I’ve just gotten back into collecting folders, I’ve been on a fixed blade kick for a while now, and just picked up the Civivi Conspirator. Fantastic knife! I really like the push button lock and when I showed it to my dad, he liked it too. I might get him one of these (plus one for myself cause the value).
I got mine a while back and I love it for the price! It has some lock stick but i don't mind enough to do anything ab it. Holds an edge well and fits perfect in my hand. Good job sencut

The jade handle with the stainless steel blade is really beautiful. If I didn't already have folding knives out the wazoo I'd be on that one.

Thanks for this review, I just ordered a natural (green) G10 at 60E from Amazon. That will be my first button lock, looking for something inexpensive, yet secure and less bulky than fixed blade for hunting. Thumbs up & subscribed :)

Great button lock starter
Good review. The micarta looks a lot like the conspirator which I would like a lot better with a thumb stud and no flipper.
I'm very pleased with my black micarta version.
For the price it looks awesome! Even putting price aside it may be even better than the Altas and the chevalier (hate that name so much) by Civivi, both of which I own, but won’t know for sure unless I handle it.
My altas +chevalier both came with lock stick (especially the chevalier) but it works it off after a week of playing with it a little, like just here and there a bit
I wonder if this would accept the civivi titanium clip?

Nice design. Mine has weak detent from what I've been seeing compared to action in reviews like yours. Read about another being returned for exactly the same reason, but I won't return mine because I bought it mostly as a budget way to check out button locks and the button lock works (will next try Kizer as I think they probably represent the best button locks in this budget sector...not ready to spend enough for a Protech).

Sencut clips are fine as they are for me, and I am picky with pocket clips. Great we have choices.

Im sitting here watching with a WE Subjugator and a Civivi Brazen on the table in front of me. This Sencut is basically a buttonlock Subjugator handle with a Brazen blade. Nice! 👍👍👍

MC, thanks for the review. Scary ... 100% agree with entire review. Perfect Gift Knife for someone's first or second (QSP Penguin or RAT) folding knife. Sold out at most places ... rumor is second drop before holidays/end.of.year. Really close on the "Hank" voice ... really close.
I luckily picked up the black micarta version as my first ever button lock and I’m impressed. Completely disassembled and polished the plunger and internals and no more lock stick. Buttery smooth and a budget powerhouse worth every penny. Oh and the 9cr18MOV took a screaming edge

Thank you for clarifying the pocket clip problem. Companies, listen to the people you want to sell knives to. Hot spots don't have to be but it takes really thought to create a winner knife and there are many winner knives but those hot spot pocket clips are down right evil. 😂🙄
Actually seems like if the Protech Mordax and the Civivi Brazen had a bastard child that they abandoned in a dumpster at birth to fed for itself.
Fun fact, the Mordax was commissioned by Massdrop when they were still into knives, distributed by WE Knives, and designed by Ferrum Forge with the exception of the button lock and simulation of a detention which was all Protech. It’s really nuts that with all those cooks in the kitchen the end result still turned out incredibly to make a fantastic knaf.)

Civivi makes a titanium clip in black or silver. They come w/6 screws and will fit this knife. About $13 on AMZN. It's not deep carry though.
Mine arrived today. The only fault I find with it is I wish there was one in black G10. But I'm very partial to G10 so I got the natural G10 like this one. I ordered some black dye, but now that I've got the knife, it's growing on me as is.

I purchased two of these. One is the G10 natural non coated blade and it is flawless in every way. The second one is the coated blade/green micarta. The coated knife has obvious tolerance issues as the deployment sucks and fails on a regular basis. When I disassembled it to investigate further the bearings were bone dry. But even after oiling the knife still does not free up until I back the pivot screw off until I have side blade play at lockup. To top it off the button is sticky. The knife sucks. The customer service answered but wants pictures and a video. I just stay to busy for that. Quality control is lacking but I sympathize with them as the state of labor is a challenge I just didn't realize it was a global problem. 3 civivi and 2 sencuts in the last two weeks with a bad knife from each brand? I will look to another brand.
I have returned a couple of coated flipping knives before realizing one should polish the internals and reveal the bare metal to get the same smoothness as satin or non coated blades. Probably time and wearing will do. It is indeed a design flaw, since you may expect them to have two different tolerances and fittings for bare and coated blades. Knowing this today, at this price point, I would gladly to it myself or have a local shop do it.

The bill on the clip helps snag proof it on the pants and gives a finger grip to help lift the clip for thicker pants. So I disagree about the clip. Great knife.

I take the clips off all my knives and just keep it in my pocket it might take half a second more to grab it but that’s fine when their is no clip in my way when I’m holding the knife . I started because I was getting poked by a clip when cutting cardboard for recycling it just wears your hand down faster . I’m a stubborn guy so I take the clip off all my knives even if o have a clip that is fine I just like a full grip with no pocket clip . I know I’ll be in the minority with this one . But thought I’d say something. Have a good day guys .
Total opposite of me lol. I won’t even consider buying a knife without a clip again. I hate the feeling of a dense blunt object bouncing against my leg when I walk.. especially when it works it way horizontal in the bottom of my pocket. Infuriating! 😖 But I don’t use folders that hard or for long lengths of time that I have to care about little clip hotspots.. unless it’s just absolutely horrible. ✌️

That knife deserves a milled clip . So glad we kept loudmoithing about it and got what we asked for . Now artisan , civivi and kizer all are starting to sell milled clips and civivi has a set that comes with 6 screws becasue ya need two long ones or use one of the old t 6 s . Anyways it always works out 👍.
