    This is the first online guide I've seen so far that demonstrates removal of that stupid rebound adjustment dust cap. I just got a 36 and I had no idea how to remove that thing, and the manual doesn't say. Thank you!

    Thanks for the video mate, did my lowers and cleaned the shit ton of grease out of my air spring. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. its night and day. before i had literally no small bump now it feels so supple. I did notice my air spring shaft felt a little notchy when compressed fast which was weird, noticing it when compressing my forks to.
    Thanks again

    Great video mate! I got my LBS to install my new air spring and something went wrong when they were doing it. Couldn’t use full travel and air wasn’t sealing. They reckon the air spring was damage and the seals stuffed. Watching your video I can’t see how they can really stuff this up. Next time I will do it myself

    Question, i've bought Fox 38 Factory 27.5 with FIT4 damper. The fork has 170mm of travel and i would like to swap the damper to grip2. It's a 820-18-336-KIT and it says 180mm travel. Is that going to fit for my 170mm fork?

      Both are great forks, how much travel are you running ? 160 mm below 36 mm is fine. 170mm + 38 is better.

    Do you have to take apart the damper side as well why can't you just replace the airespring if you're increasing the travel or not to bother with the other side?

    I’ve seen videos where people use 20ml of fox 20wt oil instead of grease internal to the air damper. This stops the equalisation port becoming blocked and causing excess grease to pooling in the bottom of the damper causing poor small bump response. What’s your thoughts on this?

  • @307.William
    @307.William Před 2 lety

    Thanks for the video!! When I removed my air spring I noticed that there was negative pressure just in the spring itself. Like, I can pull the inner small shaft and it will come out about 5mm or so, and when I let go it’ll go back 5mm or so back. Is this normal?

    • @Warby0
      @Warby0  Před 2 lety

    Hi there. When i knocked out the air spring, the travel shaft fully compressed, as if one chamber fully decompressed and created a vacuum. Any tips on how to resolve this?

    • @Warby0
      @Warby0  Před 2 lety

      Did you equalise the air spring when letting all the air out ? Cycling the air spring should fix the issue. When you take apart / clean the air spring will also fix the issue.

    Good morning from England. Can you change it to 150mm aswell as I can't find any info on it anywhere. You can buy 150mm air shaft but a friend told me it wasn't a straight forward swap like 160mm and upwards. Any info would be 👍 👌
