    I'm also just beginning my journey in modeling, and as in this case I thought I had conquered joining two bodies..... Three hours later and it's time to go to bed(it's only 3 am !!!!) . Thanks for the excellent help and a very well done presentation. My quandary WAS a "mixing elbow" for CFD project. Again, Thank You

    Awesome. So how does one go about using this file to make this pipe in the real world? Is this machined by a robot? Or is the file/cad drawing just used for it's dimensions?

    Question (not about the model but your peripherals), what are you using to turn your model like that without using the mouse?

    Nice, but I would keep the bodies seperate since they are joined via weld (assmuing the parts are carried over to sims)!

    Is a fillet instead of a weld suitable for FEA?

    • @SynergisCAD
      @SynergisCAD  Před 4 lety

      FEA is about the joint condition that's applied. Actual fillet and welds are not a consideration. In FEA, a simplified model is the key.
