That muted sound/no talking gimmick didn't make sense at all!! He needed to be deaf not mute. Then when he wound up his baby boy's music box and couldn't hear it that would be even more painful. If they wanted to milk him being mute then he needed to be in situations where he needed to talk and couldn't.... that should have been integral to his marriage falling apart!
It was pointless. They didn’t put him in any scenarios where his muteness mattered.

He was great in House of Cards but seems to be just missing with all his movies.

This hurts my heart. John Woo was my gateway drug to Foreign movies that aren't jackie chan. I was obsessed with literally every single thing he did and stuff he influenced like Max Payne. I was so excited for this
Dude, Michael Bay pretty much owes his entire career to John Woo as well. I think at one point on the commentary track for Bad Boys, Michael Bay said something like "I had never even seen a John Woo movie at that point." Okaaaaayyyy, what ever you say Michael.

I concede nothing! MI:2 is objectively terrible. Silent Night being worse doesn't make MI:2 better. Twitter seems like a chore to be on, maybe we'll get on there one day. Appreciate the share, dude.

@@hardcutreviews I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the Apple TV series - Monarch legacy of monsters starring Kurt Russell. And I use starring loosely. He’s in some of it. The series started off great. First 3 episodes were decent even though it’s very character driven. Minimal monster action but when Godzilla is on screen, it’s well done and the CGI is photorealistic. We’re on episode 5 now. 4 was boring and 5 just went fully woke. Full on lesbian in bed together scene and a high school decorated like it’s Gay University during village people week. Yeah it takes place in SF but I live near SF and as progressive as it can be, people don’t walk the streets holding a giant bag of dicks. It’s more low key. The episode was a bad stereotype of Man Francisco. Not even Godzilla is immune to woke toxicity. You guys would be great to review it. It’s up on PB. 😉😂
And if you see the trailer for the next legendary Godzilla x Kong film coming out in spring of 2024, they gave Godzilla pink dorsal fins and have him do the Joel Schumacher Batman and Robin run with Kong. I’m almost afraid to see it. All they needed was Rachel Ziegler and Brie Larson added to it. Lol
