My wife first showed me this song in 2011 when we were 15 years old. It’s so crazy, I keep coming back to this song because it reminds me of her. The lyrics resonate with me so much more now. I can 100% relate to that. I used to sing this song with the girl I planned on marrying when we were in high school and college at karaoke because we dated throughout high school, even when our families were on opposite sides of the country due to being military kids, and she ditched her dream college to go to mine. She was killed in a hit and run 2 days before I had the chance to propose.

This song breaks my heart. The guy is singing about how much he misses her and doesn't want to leave, but he has to go, and he hopes she can wait so they can make it last. And then the girl starts singing about how he can't be there for her so she can't do it. From the bridge on I just cry to this song. He sounds so utterly devastated, and when the whole band kicks in with all that power, yet it's so simple. You can hear the heartbreak in his voice when he says "is this really happening?!" This song makes it sound like he's overseas with the military, which makes this even worse. This song is amazing.

The content creator called “Kitty0706” made several gmod videos and it inspired several, if not THOUSANDS of other creators/ animators, in 2015 we had lost him to leukemia, and recently a large group of animators go together and re-animated one of his best videos titled “Team Fabulous 2”
At the end credits in said video on both ends was a song by this band and people are coming back and listening to these commemoration of a lost part of the animation community

I remember the first time I heard this song, I was 23 and living 6000km from home, away from my family and friends in the middle of nowhere in Northern Canada. A lot changed while I was gone, and this song has always brought back both good and bad memories.
This song takes me right back to sophomore year of high school, hanging out with my best friends, the girl that got away, and feeling free for the first time. Such a beautiful and timeless song.
This is one of those songs that will last and be remembered forever
This band is the reason I'm still living. I went through a really tough time in my life less than six months ago, battling depression, anxiety, body image issues, the works. But their music is truly the reason I wake up every morning with a smile, knowing that life is good.
Everyone does stupid stuff. Some can waste days at a time eating junk food, jammin' out, and playing video games, like myself. Others can post on CZcams videos of artists they don't like. Everyone does stupid stuff.

I had a guy I dated for four months, this was our song, he broke up with me during the worst time when I was really deep in depression. He sang this song to me, told me he loved me and left, and got together with someone else two days later. Then I started falling deeper and he ignored my please for help and convinced everyone I knew I was psychotic and just left me to deal with all of it.
I listen to this song now and I cannot help but feel complete hatred towards him bubble up in my chest. And lately he's been sending the lyrics of this to me and making me hurt all over again.
And to think I'm able to listen to this and not burst into tears.

This song is helping me a lot. I was in love with this guy and my parents knew that he wasn't good for me and made me break up with him. At the time, I hated my parents for it. I thought he loved me too and thought my parents were just being jerks about the situation. I just recently found out that he never cared about me and he was actually happy when we broke up. I went through a problem with pills after we broke up and it hurts more now to think that I hurt so much and went through a struggle with drugs over someone who didn't care about me at all. Actually, it hurts even worse to think that I could resent my parents so much and think they were against me when really, they probably saved me from a lot more hurt than if he would've cheated on me or broken up with me or anything else that may have happened.
My 12yo self told me to come back to listen to this song in my dreams and here i am. After 11 years ❤️
