This was a great show ! My neighbor, Joe Leaming, and I were at the concert. We climbed down the aging steps from the press box to the 7th row for the second set. A barn burner .

I remember all the "goodies" that made their way back to Bucks County everytime the Dead came to town. I specifically remember this tour...it was the summer before my senior year in high school. ...let's just say due to this concert, we were all off our rockers for the rest of the summer!
This one puts a big smile on my face. Great to see the guys having so much fun on this wonderful song. So good. Only complaint is the lack of camera shots on Phil who is thumping and propelling the energy along throughout. Check Phil at 8:18 giving it his nod of approval.

Bobby is a ferocious crooner. Mickey's got the full on Vulcan thing going by this time. Loved the Peter Max backdrops they used this year. The shows at the Berkeley Greek Theater were stunning. JFK Stadium must be 5 times the size. Glad I never had to see them in places that big.
