- Catching an entire evolution line shiny! There are lots of pokemon and they each have a different amount of evolution stages. Today I want to try and catch at least 1 full evolution line BUT SHINY!

Glad to see you still enjoying the game! I got super burnt out after perfecting the Pokédex and haven’t been able to enjoy the game since even tho it’s pretty much my favorite game now. Just out of curiosity, how would branched evolutions work in this challenge? For example if you got shiny Eevee, would you need to get just one other or would you need to obtain/evolve into the whole set of Eeveelutions?
I think that would count as a 2 step evo line

Geodude is a play in geode which is a rock with amethyst crystals inside, so basically if you cracked open a geodude like a cold one, you’d find it to be filled with purple crystals

New subscriber here, and I apologize for the length and possible idiocy of my post lol. I have a few questions, maybe the shiny hunting community would be kind enough to help me with. I have been going to same mass outbreak for some time. I start in the village and go to the mass outbreak location. Sometimes I just fly over and other times I catch all of them. I have gone 107 times and still no shiny. Am I doing it wrong or is this typical? Also, does fighting the pokemon instead of catching them lower the chances of the new spawning pokemon from being shiny? Third, where can I find the format to manipulating shiny alpha pokemon in massive outbreaks. Lastly, I've had a day where I caught 11 shinies but have now gone almost a week without finding any, again, is this typical or am I doing something to lessen the spawn rate? I have the shiny charm. All help is very appreciated.
Hey there! I think I can answer some of your questions.
1. You can't reset mass outbreaks anymore. After the 1.11 update its no longer possible to check an outbreak, go to the village and reset. When you go to Jubilife and try to go back to the outbreak, it's not there anymore.
2. Fighting Pokémon does not lower the chances. If you get into a multi battle, you can create new paths to possibly get a shiny. But I recommend catching all the Pokémon first. If there's no shiny then you can try to get into a multi battle with it if the Pokémon is aggressive.
3. If you want to learn how to do the permutation method for MMOs, I recommend watching AustinJohnPlays' video about it. It's a very great guide on how to do it. Pretty sure he's the one to discover this method

It’s insane that I have over 230 hours in this and a lot of it shiny hunting and just yesterday got my first krikitot and zorua while it seemed like everyone always got them. And I still have no shiny eevee. 230 HOURS?!
If you don't have it, work on getting the shiny charm. It makes it sooooo much easier to get shinies. It's worth the effort

Yesterday I went to a mass outbreak of Ursaring and instantly found a shiny and then I went to a mass outbreak of guitar and instantly found a shiny but I got them straight after each other
