Here’s my big-brain fan theory with regards to the collection: I feel like Capcom wants to honor the other titles, but they need SF6 to do well to hopefully green-light sequels to other beloved fighting games. So, the best Capcom could do at this moment was to bring a collection of titles that fighting game fans will be hyped about as well as introduce a new audience while they wait to see if they can resurrect other franchises. Furthermore, do we want an MvC collection? This is where it begins - we get SF6 to do well, people eat up the collection, and this success allows for Capcom to get in talks with Disney to license an MvC collection, maybe even a proper MvC4. If there’s any merit to what I’m saying, we could possibly see one of the best redemption arcs for a company. Imagine a new age of Capcom fighting games that reflect the nostalgia and fun of the 90’s, but in modern day!
MvC is gonna be a nightmare for them. Remember Disney now owns the rights to Marvel, so not only does Capcom have to deal with greenlighting from thier own company, they have to deal with greenlighting from the mega-monapoly known as Disney.
@@Reineerus_The_Rat yep. I think if Capcom can pull off SF6 with sales and positive reviews, it may be the best bet we have for the two companies to take the MvC request seriously.

Well perhaps they learned their lesson from how they tried to just drop ALL the old characters in SF3 originally, and how bad the launch of SF5 was so they won't botch it again on the release. I'm wagering the game won't be out before late next year at the earliest and it'll only be on nextgen consoles like PS5..seriously a game don't look THAT pretty even as a trailer without being made with nextgen as the MAIN focus, plus I heard Sony was gonna slowly phase out PS4 ports of PS5 games around summer this year as is..so they won't be doing double releases of games like Spider-Man Miles Morales or the new Ratchet and Clank game on PS4 and PS5 by the time SF6 is likely to drop. Several things I wanted for SFVI story mode: - Exploring Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li’s trinity relationship as well as Gouken’s connections to Gen - Shadaloo- illuminati war - Sakura meets Sean - Chun-Li vs Bision (avenging her father) - More focused on Alex (as Dhalsim foretold) - Alex meets Ibuki - Rival School characters join the Street Fighter universe - A bit of Marvel vs Capcom reference - Sakura becomes Ryu’s student as she spars Sean (though keep their surrogate brother-sister like relationship as done in the UDON comics) - Tekken cameos - Chun-Li’s relationship with Ryu (as well as her fondness and romantic feelings on the wandering World Warrior). - Guile finds out what the Illuminati has done to Nash - Learn more about Luke as the story progresses - bringing back Sakura and Karin’s rivalry - Cammy and Delta Red - Cody Travers, Guy and Mike Hager aids the World Warriors - The identity of Q from SF3 - Bringing back Yin, Yang, Sean, Elena, Gouken, Laura, Sagat, Adon, C. Viper, E. Honda, and Dan - Ryu’s training with Oro - The final battle between Ryu and Akuma - Ryu fully mastered his powers - Showdown between 2 dictators: M. Bison vs Gill

Everyone’s reacting to the design and visuals not the announcement itself
I wanted the return of World Tour mode from Street Fighter Alpha 3, where you travel thru the world in a full fledged, AAA 3rd person game mode like one of the Resident Evil Remakes they've been doing, but when you encounter a battle or start a mini game like the barrel break game, the camera perspective changes and BAM you're back to a traditional Street Fighter setup. This way, you have a real story mode past a basic arcade ladder and the fighting actually occurs right there on the street (eh? 😉). You could have it where you fight more dumbed down versions of the major characters from the region skinned as basic enemies that you fight in local tournaments. Each fight teaches you how to combat a different aspect of the main fighters in the region's moveset. As you win at the local tournaments and earn money, you can enter bigger tournaments until you get to the main in the region, beat them, level up your character, and be able to afford your flight to the next region. Would be great for newcomers to the series. Tutorial and story at the same time. The RE Engine could make it happen! Holy crap!
In hindsight, it feels like they’re hinting at the drive system in this trailer. They both seem like they’re going into their respective drive impact animations. We just had no idea what we were looking at. 😅

Lol I'm not sure what you mean by theme. But Luke is an MMA fighter and he is supposed to be the main Protagonist of this game.
@@mee091000 it’s not cartoony like SFV it’s more serious and gritty
I like how Max reminded us of his wife JJ's love of Pocket Fighter & Puzzle Fighter.
It was very cute moment 🥰 .
The joy in this video is contagious! Love you guys! 😆😆😆
I love watching people get excited for the games they love man. So fucking good!
Dam! SF 6 is finally real!! The HYPE continues! And Max’s reaction, perfect!!
The hype was right!
coming back to watch this one week away from sf 6 launch to GET HYPED
Holy sh*t dude, I love the genuine reactions to this. Matches my own feelings so nice to share.
Loving this veteran like Ryu and the more realistic character design 👍🏾. Got the Akuma flip flops 🤣
First time I seen it live
This is really cool to see
I can't wait to see how the other characters will look
Thanks guys for making my childhood memories of video games alive again!
Great work !
I'm hyped for the Capcom Fighting Collection; ALL THOSE CLASSIC GAMES, now with online play.....and it comes out just close to my birthday too.
Yes… all of those classic Darkstalkers games 🙄
Where are all of their other fighting franchises that could’ve been included?
Happy early birthday
I can't wait for their in-house absorb netcode.
Wow. I haven't played STF in years but the though of fighting online with this many versions makes me wanna get back into the few I actually played.
great reaction guys. loved it
The logo rebrand surprised me. I like it.
Idk what it is but I live for these live reactions. Makes my day better and now at 6 am off to a great start
I'm INASANELY hyped for SF6.
SF5 got so good towards the end of it's life span and it's abundantly clear that the devs are trying to strike a good balance of doing their own thing while also listening to player feedback. I really hope this game is a complete 180 from what SF5 was at launch.
Ditto dude.
U guys are awesome lol the passion in it is amazing
Man, it was fun watching this live on Twitch with YoVG
This is such a amazing time to be a fighting game fan we have King of Fighters 15 and Street Fighter 6 such a wonderful time. Street Fighter had such a hard time and the story behind Street Fighter V is one of struggle and in the end it became such a amazing game. Cool video. ^_^
agreed!
@@OrangeDrinkMusic ^_^
Well kof 15 was a dissapointment for me so hopefully steet fighter 6 delivers
@@bigassmf1923 The default buttons on King of Fighters 15 is bad I still find myself changing the buttons for example I love Yuri , Athen and Kula and Kula I manage to play great but Yuri and Athena is just annoying at times and I change buttons and it works but I don't know. At least I do great with Kula. Kula saved King of Fighters 15 for me. ^_^
@@supersmallchibiwolf872 I think you just gotta get use to the buttons cuz the default buttons have literally been the same for 2 decades now lol. I remember when I first played kofXI which was my first kof game and thinkin the same thing cuz I was just a street fighter guy at the time. Once I got use to the buttons and just how kof plays it becomes addicting to play the series
Luke's design looks so badass in SF6. Hopefully they won't abandon him like they did the new-gen of SFIII
Most of the SF3 characters came back in SF4 and SF5
Luke is the main character of sf6 much like alex to sf3
I mean third times the charm I suppose. Alex first, then they tried to push Abel.
I'll be surprised if it's set for release any earlier than late 2023..I wouldn't be surprised if it's later than that though.
@@lukejones7164 except Sean, Q and hell Alex was DLC and wasn't in the plot of V and he was the protagonist at 3
EXCITED FOR NEXT PRODUCT
Thank you for this sir, I have been counting the days until the timer went out
Excited for the Fighting Game Collection since I Used to play all of these when they were new in the arcade.
Waiting to see gameplay before getting excited about SF6, felt badly burned by the SFV
Max's reaction is pretty great, probably top 5 next to DMC V reveal.
I'm so hyped!!! I lost it when I saw this live
The way Max and the crew reacted to Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix being brought back was way too damn relatable. This is something I was wishing for for quite some time and glad Capcom finally obliged! Day 1 Purchase for me 🤙🏾
Steve falling off the chair from too much spinning was everything lmao
Now Capcom needs to do a Rival Schools, Power Stone, Tech Romancer, and Dino Crisis collection too.
They need to do alot more than just that. Like bringing back Onimusha. Of course it's all hopeful thinking but a gamer can dream right?
What about Darkstalkers????
@AntChodeny
Yes that's true. It shows Capcom hasn't forgotten Onimusha. I need a new Onimusha and Dino Crisis tho. Like really need.
Breath of fire ?
@@brookswilliams5239 did you watch the whole video?
I'm waiting for Chunli's character design. lol
I like the black dress style, but if they want to age her slightly to make the old guard the veteran fighters, I'd be ok with that too.
PTSD Flashbacks because of MvC Infinite Chunner’s face…..
@@a.rheser8181 nah, this game will have a budget. 😄
The vibe was insane watching this stream lol there was 60k people watching
Amazing react, Max!
Several things I wanted for SFVI story mode:
- Exploring Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li’s trinity relationship as well as Gouken’s connections to Gen
- Shadaloo- illuminati war
- Sakura meets Sean
- Chun-Li vs Bision (avenging her father)
- More focused on Alex (as Dhalsim foretold)
- Alex meets Ibuki
- Rival School characters join the Street Fighter universe
- A bit of Marvel vs Capcom reference
- Sakura becomes Ryu’s student as she spars Sean (though keep their surrogate brother-sister like relationship as done in the UDON comics)
- Tekken cameos
- Chun-Li’s relationship with Ryu (as well as her fondness and romantic feelings on the wandering World Warrior).
- Guile finds out what the Illuminati has done to Nash
- Learn more about Luke as the story progresses
- bringing back Sakura and Karin’s rivalry
- Cammy and Delta Red
- Cody Travers, Guy and Mike Hager aids the World Warriors
- The identity of Q from SF3
- Bringing back Yin, Yang, Sean, Elena, Gouken, Laura, Sagat, Adon, C. Viper, E. Honda, and Dan
- Ryu’s training with Oro
- The final battle between Ryu and Akuma
- Ryu fully mastered his powers
- Showdown between 2 dictators: M. Bison vs Gill
I would LOVEEEEEE to see all of this in the Story mode but I doubt we'll even get half of your list
They did do a rival school character and stage with akira in street fighter 5 . So I don't think there will be a Rival school character in street fighter 6 . Maybe another character from there other franchises
I am not sure if chun li ever had romantic feelings for ryu ( she has alot respect for him ) .
We will get more luke story because in street fighter 5 it did end on a cliffhanger in his story
@@spiderhulk26
Batsu ichimonji, kyosuke debut and akira kazama Returning in sf6.
@@Lupo32 is it confirmed ?
I died laughing when they starting yelling it's HOT RYU LMAO 🤣 😂 😆 💀.
I have to wait till JUNE to get my hands on that fighting game collection?!
Can't wait!
Really excited for Cap Fighting Collection and SF VI. Hot Ryu looks sick and Luke redesign looks nice!

You are welcome.
It was amazing to watch this all unfold live.
Very happy for SF fans. I hope the news is amazing in summer. Congrats yall.
Holy shit man Steve was killing it this whole stream... Hilarious from the time he stepped in the room 🤣🤣
Definitely really looking forward to SF6, really want it to be good and bring back the hype for Capcom fighting games! Also the Capcom Fighting Collection was a huge surprise and I am definitely getting it to support it
Before I encountered your videos I was not a fighting game fan AT ALL. But because of you i got into street fighter, mortal kombat, guilty gear strive and kof xv. You're awesome!
That short teaser is hype asf! The game collection is hype asf! this was amazing.
We here boys
I don't even play fighting games and I screamed with y'all so damn hype. I expected a year or two before *anything* sf 6 related.
Honestly, I didn't think we'd hear anything this soon either. The game could possibly come out early next year, and that's pretty exciting. I thought we might hear something next year, so this is a pleasant surprise
tbf the game had been confirmed to be in development for a little while now and they announced that the entire Fighting Game division at Capcom moved on minus some for SFV for none season DLC and balance updates. I think the fact that we got nothing at E3 was really disappointing but its about time we got something. however, I understand this could be my brain wishing and waiting so it FELT like forever at least. Im just glad we finally can confirm stuff about the game. Im so ready for the next gen of SF.
why are you here?
Capcom legit said many times recently that SF6 is in development and we should expect an announcement soon
@@Kenjionigod Capcom said for a while when they were releasing Season 5 dlc that SF6 is in development and that we should expect an announcement soon right after Luke released like 3 months ago so that’s when everyone expected the teaser at the end of the CPT so this isn’t new. Everyone’s reacting to the design and visuals not the announcement itself
I love it when the squad gets hyped! Let's go!!!
Now that is a great reaction video!
Holy crap!
Bro it's called Shemnue or Yakuza or MK11's krypt or any other 3rd person game
Sounds interesting but also unnecessarily tedious and alienating, like SF characters in fortnite
In hindsight, it feels like they’re hinting at the drive system in this trailer. They both seem like they’re going into their respective drive impact animations. We just had no idea what we were looking at. 😅
It’s a pleasure to meet you again
Graphic looks amazing just like any upcoming games, damn the future is here !
Those trailers are badass. I'm so hyped for those games. Now if we can get a Marvel/ and or SNK Capcom Fighting Collection that be insane 😳.
Didn’t expect 6 but I’m excited!
Yup, was waiting for this video lol.
Although I cannot wait to see what they are doing with SF6, I will say I feel the countdown was still a bit excessive for a fighting game collection and a 30 second announcement for an announcement. Expected a little more honestly but happy none the less.
As a video game company you gotta tease briefly. Thats how you sell it well. They will bring more insight in summer
