- The boat never had floor supports right up forward so we continue with the steel sub-floor which will support the ply floor and then the bed in the main cabin.

Well done on the start of the sub floor as for weed we have a lake where we live i thailand which has an overflow it sometimes is full of weed but it magically disappears looking forward to next time

I just said the same thing yesterday in the opposite way. We had to work on some wood for our boat for the next episode, and I really hate it. I'd far rather work with metal.

Now would be the time to add some headroom in the bow cabin , a slanted roof would work nice !You like wood better then metal ?! but you own a metal boat not wooden go figure ?!
The bow cabin has quite a lot of headroom already. Same throughout now, thankfully. It was very low.
