I get excited and start commenting back before you're done, as if you're talking to ME. Your canal style flowers look like you've been doing it all your life. Especially lovely against the wood tones of your door. Please do more accents! I love the word clanger for mistakes. It's hard not to borrow language from Brits and Irish...but that's um, so Madonna. Glad to see you doing stuff, and hope you stay on the mend.
Hi Beth. Just say it's great watching your progress on your barge. I had blood pressure probs about 3 years back, it's scary, made me feel really odd too. I envy your skills and the way the barge is coming on. Keep going, and keep enjoying your project . She is worth it to you and everyone who watches your channel. When you take the time you need to plan and to do the work, we will get more vlogs right? To me that sounds like a very good deal.
Btw, you are totally right about working on projects in the winter. Its a job just to find the motivation when its cold. Here in nortwestern Norway it was minus 20 to 25 for more than two weeks, and minus 12 to 15 (celsius) the rest of december and beginning of january.
Gosh, that is cold! Although in the UK it's mostly just grey and damp so I'd love some proper Norwegian winter sometime! Yes, plenty of vlogs! 😊
@@TillerQueen Almost too cold even for one who's grown up with arctic winters. One very ok "side effect" though, are northern lights that leaves you flabbergasted. Looking foreward to the vlogs.
Hi Beth. Sticking with you, it's a long term project. Just wondering about the way in which you have mounted your mast? I am sure you have mentioned it else where it just seems less elegant than the way other similar boats solve the problem with a big counter weight. Is it to give you more space below deck?Glad you are feeling a little better.
Yes, the counterweight has been removed for more space although the legs can be dismantled and stored away but I haven't done that yet as I've not had a chance to. But I will!

I am not a fan of the typical canal art, but what you did looks teriffic. Quality over quantity, I guess. Maybe that's what I don't like about that style--it usually covers everything and seems too busy. As to the future, take your time, take care of yourself, and I'm sure your subscribers will be happy to watch whenever you feel like making a video.
