As someone who grew up in the killifish hobby starting at age 7, 35yrs ago this guy was the man..viva la old school AKA..
Jack needs to put down all his knowledge and techniques down in a book. You can see his love and passion for these fish from a mile away. His a lover not a hobbiest.

Ive just got the colwn killifish breeding pair fingers crossed they breed
I've heard snails eat killifish eggs so ive always avoided snails in my killi tanks, even tho I love having snails in all my other tanks cause I find them extremely useful. Im seeing alot of snails in Jack's tanks tho so maybe I should re-think my strategy!!
I’ve been an Aquarium hobbies for over a decade now but I’ve never gotten into the Killies. Why? Cause I’m an idiot, these fish are beautiful!! Gonna have to give em a go.
Check out the American Killifish Association, FB Groups, Aquabid, and eBay auctions for great killifish leads. We need more people keeping them for sure.

Be careful you are at a high risk of becoming one of those old kili keepers with dozens of unlit tiny tanks crammed in a room all with mops as decor..... isnt it glorious???? Its like the crazy cat lady of the fish world.

I love his fry system, putting them in the hardware organizer but how does he oxygenate the water? I am surprised being sloshed around that much doesn't affect them.
I love the system so much too, super organized! I need to get one myself. As for the for the water oxygenation, ive had success raising killifish fry in little tubs without oxygen or air stones many times so I don't think its that necessary at that age!

I don’t think he will ship that far. And yeah I had the same experience with eggs online but also have had some successful. I’ve also had some send where it was nothing but dirt. No eggs to be found… it’s a struggle
