    Great review KG…keep doing these types of videos! I love my Bose 900 soundbar, Base Module 700, and surrounds 700! Definitely add the Base Module for the full movie or music experience! I upgraded from the Bose 700 soundbar and I definitely hear a difference with a wider soundstage and it’s louder…I was impressed with the 700 and even more so with the 900. I agree KG the dialogue is the best I’ve heard from a sound bar!!! I love crystal clear clarity and the 900 gives it to you!!!

      @@TechWithKG I also loved that you included sound clips from both movie and music. Even though it won’t sound the same through the microphone, I listened to it through my Bose 900. Question on your 700 surrounds. Do they create a good range of sound or more of a sound presence? I am updating my old System and moving away from separates. But my old Polk bookshelf speakers really do well producing a full range sound for effects. Thanks.

    • @luvtechLynn
      @luvtechLynn Před 2 lety

      @@jntaylor63 Probably your Polk bookshelf speakers would definitely be a Fuller sound bc they are much bigger. In my room I’m so glad that I have the 700 surrounds IMO they do make a difference but you can live without them bc the bar with the sub are excellent! I had some friends over to watch Free Guy and WOW… it sounded amazing especially with Dolby Atmos…the surrounds really added to the experience!!!

    Great review, i really looking forward to the comparison with Sonos Arc.
    I really can’t decide between the two.
    For me, the most important is vocal clarity, i watch a lot of regular tv broadcast, and music.
    Also my tv doesn’t have eArc, just Arc.
    So another important factor for me would be, how good the soundbar upmixes, 5.1 or stereo signal to atmos like sound?
    Thank you, and keep up the good work.

      @TechWithKG  Před 2 lety +2

      For the Arc I didn’t feel like I got a big Atmos type effect from the upmix but it was still great audio for the most part. Vocal clarity is dependent on background tracks and other sfx.

    I got the 900 on sale for $700, the sub 700 for $700, and the surrounds for $200 open box and I'm very happy. You're right though the sub isn't at all needed. I have it set to 0 because otherwise it just sounds unbalanced to me. I agree with everyone else as far as the Sonos arc goes. I spent a couple of months with my buddys full arc system and it's great but muddy on the bass and tinny on the highs at high volumes. I know sound is subjective but I personally find the Bose system (full) to be noticably superior in it's soundstage. The arc has side speakers but the Bose still sounds wider and higher on height effects somehow. My friend listens to tons of old rock so for that the ARC rocks for sure, but for gaming and movies the Bose 900 full system knocks it out of the park. I have mine hooked up to the LG C2 eARC along with my new PS5 playing God Of War Ragnarok and it's so awesome.

    Got this Bose 900 for my bedroom with no rears or sub cause I really don't need it in my bedroom! The sound quality and compression level at max volume is really great on the Bose 900 as it doesn't give off artifacts in the mids and highs. Sonos ARC has better bass but the Bose can give off better clarity for music and movies/tv, if u game alot go with the Sonos. I really enjoy the Atmos effects, I finished watching "The Matrix " trilogy on Blu ray with Dolby Vision/Atmos and it just had me with all the sound effects all over the place. The Sony soundbar community is having a HUGE divide now, because of the Sony HT-A9 and the HT-A7000. Especially after Andrew Robinson review of the A9 and slamming the A7000, even though many do like the A7000 over the A9. So yes, there's 2 sides to this mini war. It would be great if you could compare the two.

    • @BruceyEmpire
      @BruceyEmpire Před 2 lety +1

      @@crazywasy I agree there’s always two sides. However I bought the A7000 after Andrew Robinson’s review thinking it can’t be like that surely. I genuinely couldn’t believe how bad it sounded in that price bracket. My old Sony zf9 was just as good and the Sonos arc wipes the floor with the A7000. Height and surround is disappointing and the centre channel is very muddy and muffled. The arc is much more dynamic. Andre Robinson got it spot on…. how Sony have released that as their top tier soundbar will ultimately get them a bad reputation.

      @marisolarellano7250 Před rokem

      Hola, vale la pena?. Claro k si! Lo único que no me gusta, una vez que calibras todo el equipo, disminuye el volumen, aque se debe, no lo se pero eso pasa, ademas tienes que hacer unos cuantos muchos demaciados "ajustes" para balancear el sonido de las bocinas de arriba de la barra, pata que puedas disfrutar mas del sonido...es muy como decir? Muy suave el sonido, el bum bum!!!!! Muy fuerte 💪 así k ten cuidado con tus vecinos son los primeros en notar que tienes un nuevo equipo de sonido!!!!!! También para poder escuchar un mejor atmos, es 100% recomendado que sea por un disco(blu-ray), y que sea 100% dolby atmos , por el contrario si lo haces por línea (Internet), solo será stereo y un poco sonido ambiental...
      Bueno suerte, la música otro nivel de igual manera en línea solo pasa por PCM, STEREO. ....
      pero muy buena calidad definición nítida

    I currently have the vizio M-5.1.2 soundbar. I absolutely love it! Perfect amount of bass(and sometimes a tad to much lol) with room to turn it up more. Pretty good atmos effects too and has powerful satellite speakers too. I downgraded(still an upgrade for me) from the vizio elevate(5.1.4). Since living in an upstairs apartment, the elevate was to powerful(bass and sub at lowest setting still shook and rattled the walls with volume almost half way), so i sold that beast and got the M-5.1.2(elevate's lil brother) since it basically sounds the same but just more tame and overall manageable for me. Works out great for me since i wanted to keep the elevates quality of sound as close as possible but with less bass/power. vizio M-5.1.2 = Major win!
