it wasn't a emergency sequence the computer was still detecting the 158 in the circuit and it keeps it there until the barriers are fully raised what the deltaic driver did was put them down the computer got confused and then reset it self known as a reset sequence the barriers drop and the rise again, if you look inside the cabinets it has instructions on how to work the crossing and it does state do not press the lower buttons when the barriers are rising
