Rab has tilt technology which is on their rab mythic ultra jacket. Similar to the Columbia reflective technology. I just got that model and am waiting to take it on more adventures.
Thank you for comparing it to the columbia,,, Now im really confused. I need a new coat soon (now). until 8 mins ago I thought the columbia was the way to go now ???
I noticed they sized up with the infinity, guessing to allow layering. I went to try the old model and a large was the best fit but the infinity seemed to big. They didn't have a Medium to try so I held off until I can try the Medium
Keep the great videos coming :-) Just a quick question. If u had to choose between 225 g of 90/10 duck down with 750 cuin fill power or 115 g 90/10 goose down with 800 cuin fill power from the same brand. which one would u go for to keep u warm leaving everything else aside. Just warmth? What temp do u think the later could withstand? Appreciate a reply mate. Many thanks in advance.
I’m thinking to use this jacket winter in south of Sweden. So humid, windy and around 3-8 degrees Celsius. Will it work for this or will it be too cold? 🥶
Looks nice, but far too heavy in my opinion. Callin it 'microlight' is a big stretch. I also don't see why I would want a Goretex on a down jacket, as I am bringing a shell/ rain jacket anyway.
It's not really warm enough for minus -10C or below temperatures 🌡️ and not even enough for above that temperature when you dial in strong winter wind factor or snow ❄️. You'd need to seriously layer up with this jacket if static for long periods, although it would be ok for active stuff, such as trekking up a steep mountain. I would steer you to the warmer Rab down jackets with more total down weight stuffed inside it. There are plenty to choose from.
@@serruhattn for anything below -5, this jacket would still have a great use, but with a shell over the top. My absolute favourite very cold weather layering at the moment is base layer, medium/thick fleece, Rab infinity, then a durable shell. It’s also my layering for skiing in -20!

There are so many great jackets out there I hear good reviews on this company and I like the Eddie Bauer brand because they are always on sale 😊
RAB is worth every penny. Look at it as an investment. I'm NEVER cold in winter.
Couldn’t agree more Alex!! 👊👊

Did you find it let a lot of down out when you first got it?
The BIG question...! What's warmer, the Omni Columbia, or the Rab?
Omni!!!!
How is this jacket in minus 10?
Not sure !!!
