    Love DIY. I love doing those kind of projects around the house. I've refinished so much furniture around here, it's not even funny. But I love to paint and love buying old furniture and making it look new. Very satisfying and so cost effective. Great job guys.

    This is great! I actually already have the exact paint. Redid my cabinets last year, have just put off doing the hardware. Was a little worried how it would turn out. But after watching the video, I'm ready to jump in and get it done. Thanks for sharing!

      It doesn't hold up on door knobs but does great for hinges and other things that aren't touched daily. Speaking from experience :)

    Love the video.. trying this on my hinges right now. I did actually swap out the doorknobs for the actual oil bronze finish. How long did you let your hinges dry?? I'm kinda impatient and looking forward to the finished project..lol and how is the paint holding up???

  • @Cphairchic1
    @Cphairchic1 Před 9 lety +1

    Now that time has gone by. Is there any sign of wear on the paint. We want to do our door handles and it would save about 600 bucks but I'm afraid because door handle get touched and turned a lot that they would chip. What do you think? All of our handles are nice expensive around 50.00 each but I'm changing from brushed nickel to oil rubbed bronze. I would really love your input. I watch all your channels including your daily vlogs. Hi to Lily bug and Phoenix:)

    Public question: Must the door hinge color match the door handle color? I've already painted the doors semi-gloss white. I've purchased nickel-tinted door handles and now I intend to spray paint the hinges white. Anything odd about that plan? Thanks.
