Dammit, I keep doing this... Jade's boyfriend's name was Steve. I wrote it down as Peter for some reason one time and didn't pick up on it as I was narrating it. I gotta start drinking some coffee before I narrate these videos 🤦♂
No sweat mr nightmare :)
Still a great video
Still love it!
it's okay!
It’s ok! This video was still awesome as they always are
The first story was absolutely horrific when the voicemail was included. That guy is an absolute psycho
I got literal Goosebumps listening to that one!.
Somehow I got jumpscared by the end of the voice-mail, but it gave me literal chills throughout
I could solve that problem. Come out with a gun to his face. See how fast HE can run. 💯💯
He Use some kind of voice changer to make himself scarier to. Either that or he edited to video to add some suspense.
Yeh definitely a weirdo. I think he was just lonely
Hi! As a disabled person and therefore an easy target for robbery, I’ve been stalked several times. Here’s some advice if you ever find yourself in the position of a stalking victim
1. Keep all voicemails, text messages, and record all calls with the stalker. Turn them ALL into the police. Any evidence you can give them helps, the less evidence the more likely it is they’ll brush you off. Keep the number of the stalker, even if it happens to just be gibberish (like the one with the girl in Dylan’s closet).
2. Once all of this evidence is turned in, change your phone number. If this doesn’t work, change service providers. If you don’t have the money or resources, block the number.
3. Travel in groups, this will probably discourage the stalker
4. If you have the money, set up security cameras. If you don’t and you have any trees in your yard, set up some kind of tripwire that’s difficult to see.
5. If you KNOW they’re following you, immediately dial 911. “But they won’t believe me-“ nope. Just do it. If you can, ask the officers to arrive with their sirens off so the stalker isn’t scared off. If they’re close enough to hear, act like you’re on the phone with a friend. Tell them you cant give details and keep talking for your safety.
6. If they’re tailing you in your car, don’t go home. Call the police. Don’t know if they’re tailing you? Take random turns that don’t really lead anywhere. If they follow, they’re probably tailing you.
Stay alert, stay safe.
It's called buy a gun
@@Asymmetrical-Saggin
That's easier for some people than others, depending on where you live. Not to mention, some people don’t want to chuck a bunch of money away on a gun. Then there’s the whole thing about not wanting to shoot someone, stalker or not.
@@greywalker505 Bro you can buy a 'good enough' self defense 9mm or even .380 for $200 bucks. It won't be a glock or a S&W but it's better than nothing. Just having one is usually enough to deter any would be thugs. I do get what you're saying, but if shit is getting like this in your life then spending the money is worth it.
As far as the 'not wanting to shoot someone' part, yeah i can understand that. But at what point do you tell yourself enough is enough?
@@Asymmetrical-Saggin
Fair points. I’m personally on a neutral side in the gun debate.
I've seen the gun debate in the comments, even if you own a gun, it's still a good idea to know these types of steps and tips on what to do. Like you said, stay alert, stay safe.
To all the women living alone or with roommates…ALWAYS lock your windows and doors. The Idaho case is a good example of why.And do NOT give your phone numbers to guys you have just met no matter how nice they seem.
Not just women... everyone should lock their windows and house up it's common sense.
Why people leave things unlocked..?🤦🏾♀️ I'll never know
@@TyeArtisikfr, i thought humans were supposed to be *advanced*
This is a warning to everyone, never give out your phone numbers so easily not just because of the easy contact, but because someone can actually get your address from it. That's the scary part you can go out of your way to avoid showing where your house is but if you give up the number it can be obtained
yes, and everyone should google their phone number/name to see what comes up and try to have it taken down@@coolunusual
I’m seriously worried about Jade. It only takes 1 time to get her alone with him she should move tbh
I’m getting hoax vibes from that one. Camera was positioned on her, not reacting (or hiding) when the knocking occurred. Had the lights on in the room, and didn’t move and he still leaves gifts? Not sure how much I believe it
@@tonyg5132 I agree with you. I thought the same thing especially when she is sitting there alone, stranger knocking on window you would think she would have grabbed some type if weapon
@@nicholestroup1770 To be fair I thought about it some more. She could have set up an extra camera to provide some evidence for police or her family that she was being stalked. But idk. Maybe she just doesn’t have a good sense of danger and what to do. I don’t want to be mean but some people don’t have common sense. I would have done everything in my power to get the guy or move if it was me.
Damn that’s my exs name lol too bad it wasn’t her
@@tonyg5132 she literally made the video so she could post and show people. Come on, think.
Jesus Christ, that message from Jade's stalker gave me actual chills. That voice, the unhinged shit he said, and whatever filters he was using to achieve the sudden pitch shifts and whispy echo, he sounds like a monstrous video game villain come to life. There's something very disturbing about the lighthearted way he knocks at her window too, the guy even has the gall to tap "Shave and a Haircut" at one point. This is no joke, he absolutely seems like a true psychopath and means to harm her. I wish Jade and Peter all the luck in the world dealing with this creep and getting him put away long enough for them to safely relocate.
Idk why it made me laugh tbh. It's probably some incel just pissed.
Dude sure is doing a lot , if “he’s just pissed”
@@NightyNi8t333that kind of mentality and down playing situations like these gets people killed😐
@@erinnproseee It also helps people stay calm and think rationally instead of overreacting and making the situation worse for themselves...
@@erinnproseee Frankly it's dismaying that the police don't feel the need to stake out her house. It sounds like they might have an opportunity to catch a serial killer before his first kill. Maybe it's not worth their time yet because it doesn't generate much press coverage and public acclaim until after there have already been a few murders? 🤷♂
In the last story, the "demonic screaming" is literally just the beginning of the song Texas is South by the band The Devil Wears Prada. 😂
I think the sister must have hacked into her phone.
I heard that too...
Lol it's so stupid 🤣🤣
LITERALLY WORD THATS WHAT I WUZ THINKN AZWELL
LMAOO at 6:33, when he says "sasha got this voicemail:", I then instantly got a burger king ad with a catchy jingle and it was fucking hilarious timing but kinda almost also scared the shit outta me
"The police didn't provide much assistance." Been watching these videos for two years and I swear that is almost like a catchphrase for Mr. Nightmare and it's damning when you realize that people who became murder victims had probably reached out to law enforcement just to be told to "change your phone number" which is essentially saying "just ignore them".
Most of our justice system is complete trash. Our house got broken into last year, and although the two thieves got caught, they've been in and out of jail. One even recently had a bond forfeiture hearing and STILL got bonded out again afterward. It's a disgrace.
If someone started tapping on my windows, I'd put a bullet through his general direction. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Obviously, the dude is mentally ill, but I've dealt with enough psychotic people (as an EMT) to know they ain't Superman.
@@pip_a728 These DA’s don’t wanna charge suspects anymore, our judges don’t sentence criminals long enough, and our politicians want to release more prisoners. It really is a disgrace.
The American law enforcement system as a whole is _far_ more interested in punishing crimes than preventing them.
Since this is happening in Seattle, the police certainly won't do anything. The politicians, law enforcement, and court system make sure the criminals get away with anything.
So for story 4, that's the message broadcasted by NORAD to military installations, if the woman lived nearby to a military base it's possible her phone picked up the signal, which would explain the specific time period when the message would occur.
I’m glad someone else thought the same
It's immediately not creepy when you realize it's a military thing.
Greeley is about 2 hours north of Colorado Springs, I wouldn't doubt that NORAD would have a signal that could reach that far. I got to tour NORAD when I was a boy scout and it's an amazing facility.
i got number station vibes myself. then again i played BO1 as a kid so maybe im just biased

3:04 I don't know why, but when he said that he knows how fast she can run, it gave me chills. Just something about that sounded absolutely horrifying. My heart hurts for anyone that lives with a stalker in their life and/or has been unlucky enough to meet a creep like that.

Reminds me of a time my aunt and I received a voice mail that was nothing but a heartbeat. Super scary.
Wow that is scary 😟
😢😢😢
I hope there's an update for the first story 😭 I'm scared and worried for the girl
If anything like these stories happened to me, I'd have a nervous breakdown. About 2005 I remember this strange voice mail on my landline. It sounded like a man's voice who was growling. I was in school then and for some reason, I thought it could be someone in my class pranking me. I never got a call like that again. Thank God.
Yo those landline prank calls back in the day were something else. Who remembers Crank Yankers
@@grassfedcharlie I remember. Them and the Jerky Boys.
I hope you're good now :) I can relate a lot to this I used to go to high school with a guy who was obsessed with me and one day I was home sick with a cold and omg he showed up at my door because he knew I was home alone. (He took the same school bus as me) and I legit had to hide in my mom's closet and I closed the door and cried, and my mom came home and almost had to call the police cause it got that bad. but luckily, he's left me alone after high school graduation (I'm grateful for that) this world is definitely a scary one >.< and I hope everyone stay's safe out there.
In late 2005 I had voicemails in the middle of the night that sounded like demonic growling and made no sense. I was 18, pregnant, and living on my own. I screamed and cried out in absolute panic. My husband was working nights and I was alone, I called my in laws in the middle of the night to come get me. It never happened again but I truly feel deeply disturbed just thinking back on it. It didn’t sound human. And I have never had any idea of who it could’ve been.
@@sarahramsey289 omg.. thats so scary😭
Stalker leaves message threatening to abduct and kill a person and constantly shows up on cameras leaving creepy gifts at the house's doorstep.
Police: "Yeeeeeaaaaaahh, if you can maybe not bother us with nonsense like that that'll be great, mmm'kay?"
Stalker leaves obsessed messages on woman's phone, breaks into her house, leaves evidence of his break-in, leaves message confessing to the break-in, gets caught.
Justice System: "A few night in a cell and some good work will set him straight, surely. Off you go, person who is definitely not dangerous in any way."
Seems like everything is working as it should, yes.
I hate it here, lol
I once had to explain carefully to the operator on the police line that I do not think people normally leave their takeout and personal items (including keys) scattered over a parking lot & found it concerning that the operator thought this was normal behavior.
@@ryohoshi8445 I hate to say this, but collectively, most of our "public servants" have an IQ of 2, and are also apparently on the Asperger's spectrum.
That was my first thoughts.
@@ryohoshi8445 Operators and police can be just as nutso as some criminals ISTG. I came out as LGBT and my parents were livid asf and chased me through the house screaming that they were going to bash my skull in. I literally had to barricade myself in and called the police because I knew that they would try to kill me once I managed to find a better way to escape. Operator was nice, but the police officer honestly thought it was perfectly fine for my parents to threaten to kill me and said that I should "grovel for forgiveness". Fuck that noise.
The first two were downright chilling indeed. #5 was one of the creepiest voicemails I have ever heard -- I froze just standing here watching the video. And #3 was straight out of a horror film: being left a voicemail only to discover the person was inside your house?!
#3 definitely watched enough When A Stranger Calls
I know right, mostly people in the comment section were spooked from the 1st one but the 3rd one gave me literal chills down my spine!!
At least Jeremy didn’t want to wake her, such a kind and considerate guy he is.
I think the reason most stalkers or random prankster are confident in causing mental and emotional troubles to their victims is because police won't do anything if they seemed to not be able to do anything.
It's because judges keep giving them light sentences. Period. Also, because they get a sick enjoyment out of causing distress in their target, so they don't care if they are caught. They serve their time, then reoffend. I am the victim of stalking at the hands of my ex for 9 yrs now.
"police won't do anything if they seemed to not be able to do anything"
So police won't do anything if they can't do anything? I mean, yeah, I suppose that is technically true.
@@jenx5870 I apologize for sounding like an idiot
@@ninetailedfox579121 In my defense I've read some stories where police went out of their way to help the person and actually helped because even with seemingly nothing else to do he felt bad for the person
Why cant you instead give these people a second chance before they become stalkers?
I can usually get through Mr Nightmare stories without being too bothered but some of the things I heard in this video sent chills down my spine. Congrats, u got me with this one🍾

1st voicemail guy thought he was main character
For real! 😂
gosh, it's utterly embarrassing and cringy
The woman in the 2nd one was unoriginal
That cause it never happened
The first voicemail was absolutely terrifying. When he said “ you can’t do anything “. I can’t even. And the voice effects. Sounds like something straight from hell.
i have no idea why but my first thought was "this sounds like something outta CoD" when it really doesnt lol
The 4th story has a much less sinister story behind it than you may think. This woman completely accidentally received a NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) warning broadcast. I think that "station zulu foxtrot 7-7" refers to the name/number of the AWS station it was being broadcast from. CON4 means condition 4, the lowest norad threat condition level. It disappeared because the Air Force discovered that it was broadcasting to a regular civilian landline and shut it off.
Thanks for the info. I thought it was something innocuous such as that when I heard the NORAD part. 🤔
thank u for the explanation i was SO scared of it lol. like omfg 😭 sounds like a freakin nightmare hahaha
I dunno, the moment I heard NORAD I said "ah, ok". It wouldn't have even phased me. I can see why it scared that poor elderly lady, though.

The message from Jade's stalker and the final demonic recording are spine-tingling.
The demonic recording is actually a song. Listen to the recording and now listen to Devil Wears Prada - Texas is South.
@@Happycappy91that’s a big relief! Kept me awake all night afraid after hearing that voice
It's not scary to me. The demonic part is questionable but I feel there has to be something going on with the touch screen or a system glitch. Such as water can affect your phone weird is my main theory.
It's clearly shite
@@squishy_cat2 he probably used a voice effect butvhis need to control is common trait with many killers
9:25 sounds like her landline or number was accidentally crossed over with some secret government facility and being automatically dialed to a government computer server because of it. Then it says an alert and starts tracing the breach to the unauthorized connection. Hence why her phone went down for a day. They were fixing the crossed connection with or without the phone company knowing. That's why they never heard it again after getting service back.
NORAD I think
People talking about the first voice, but the one of the guy whispering, and the NORAD voicemail startles me more than the cringy first voicemail.
The first one needs to be investigated further. I’m into criminology, and that guy shares some patterns with previous serial killers.
May I ask which patterns?
@@Melissa31179 hi! so i'm currently studying criminology and forensics, idk if these are the same patterns the user was thinking about but i suspect he has the need to control (he's using her fear against her in those voicemails), sensation seeking, and/or predatory behavior which most serial killers have
@@phantomscomet yeah thanks, that's why I asked what patterns because to me using fear as tool and need for control don't seem abnormal behaviours at all to the point where you can call them patterns I believe, been studying psychology for like 7 years by now and can tell most people do indeed like to apply control over those who surround them even if they don't want to admit it
Only in Seattle

In the last story, the screams that you heard playing during the voicemail are from a song called Texas Is South by The Devil Wears Prada lol. Strange pull but yup
This creeps me out because I recently had a stalker who left creepy voicemails. It's very unsettling.
In 2007 or 2008, my mom got a voicemail from someone using a voice changer who said her full name and threatened to blow up the house we were staying in unless she took my brothers and me and got out (which she did). We never did figure out who it was...
That’s ducking horrifying. I’m glad you guys were okay
What do you think the motive was?
@tekbarrier I have a few theories, but it seems most likely that someone wanted us gone so they could get inside. We were in a somewhat remote location staying in my wealthy aunt's house while she was away on vacation.
probably your landlord used that technique to get yall out of his house since yall were making trouble for him
That's terrifying! 😰 Did you return to the house afterwards?
The First Voice mail sends chills down my spine truly terrifying the pitch of the voice. The Scary thing is the case is still under investigation and still receiving unwanted gifts the creep still on the loose. That girl definitely get the hell out of there if not armed and loaded.

These things happened you know
I really wish one of my friends at least live with me, cause as much as living alone is a privilege, it's also a fear
I would be scared out of my mind if I got this voicemail late at night
This brings me back to my scary voice mail story. Back in 2016 my friend was spending the night with me and it was summer so we had the windows open and we where downstairs in my living room. We where watching a movie and I got a phone call from some weird number and I didn't answer it because it was three in the morning so it was just odd to me. I noticed they left a voice-mail and I listened to it I didn't think much of it until I could hear the movie me and my friend where watching. I had her listen to it again with me and she heard it too. In the voice-mail you can Cleary hear the movie we where watching and her talking to me. We locked all the doors and shut all the windows and turned off the lights. When I tried to call the number back it went straight too this number is unavailable and no longer in service. I still have the voice-mail somewhere but the quality is not good, but I will never forget that day.

I think that a lot of people who consume this type of content, myself included, have a subconscious tendency to somewhat forget that these are real people and just treat these stories as entertainment but hearing the actual voice of the person threatening them rather then just reading a reddit post really gives perspective on how real these things actually are.

I've been subscribed to Mr. Nightmare since 2015. One of my favorite CZcamsrs for scary stories.
I love your videos ! Your voice is soothing and you explain the stories very articulate and I can get a good summary of the story ! Keep doing your thing! My girlfriend is a big fan and obsessed with your videos so shout-out to you !
I'm just happy we have this man, this guy is such a great person and I'm glad how far he has came and what he accomplished, thank you Nightmare for being who you are :)
I was just having a horribly emotional moment missing my dog who passed away in October 2022, and came to CZcams for a distraction only to find a new Mr. Nightmare video. Thank you. I can't tell you how much I needed this right now.
im really sorry about your dog. losing a family member is one of the worst things we go through. sending love and light!
Good luck to you friend. I love you ❤ God bless you
Oh shut up
Im so sorry for your dog's passing. I hope you're doing okay. You'll feel better with time. Remember to let yourself be sad at times and don't push away all of your negative feelings. Again, hope you're doing okay
Dog is still with you through the happy memories held.
This reminds me of a voicemail my family got on our landline when i was in elementary, some how our message machine recorded a scene from a episode of iCarly but it only recorded the part when Sam was talking about Freddy's mom when she said "Fork In The Neck" it scared my mom so much cause the fact that it only recorded that part was disturbing
I'm 53 years old, and this is EXACTLY the kind of thing that scares me.
@@beccawiley6684 Yeah even all these years later, it still creeps me out. That's the reason why we stopped using landlines. But that hasn't stop us from receiving creepy messages on our cellphones
Jade? Victorious? Huh? Is that kraven the hunter?! Bro thought he was a Spider-man villain😂 2:20
At 6:58 My thought was "He took a dump on the kitchen table!"
Somehow I just feel like saving and protecting these people in Mr. Nightmare’s stories , my heart goes out to them! ❤️

This almost reminds me of those infomercials that make everyday tasks look like a pain.
But I do use this method now ever since I learned of the sequence function.
I am loving your DA course, I am using excel for everything!
The first guy could try to be creepy but let's see how far he gets when she puts a 9mm in his chest 😂
I've come to this channel for 7 years for comfort. I needed this today so much. Love you Mr. Nightmare
These disturbing voicemails definitely run chills down your spine. Seems like there's more to them than anyone could ever expect. You can never really tell a person's intent or motive behind them.
You could at least watch the video first. Posted 2 minutes after the video was released.
@@minafrota6124 fr 😂 this kids didn’t even watch the video yet
Especially the last one
@@gregkareem9824 I don't know, I think that last one had some strong paranormal vibes to it.
@@chernobylsurvivor2398 many if these commenters are bots. They will say "can we give an applause..", Can we just take a moment.." It's annoying.
Love getting this as rec at almost 12:00 am.
CZcams loves me
Jeremy doing asmr
the oddest voicemail i ever got was a lady wondering why she had to leave a message at the chicken place
Hahaha
Great stories! Will share.
These were weird, scary, and new. Great job narrating
I recall the one where the woman thought people were taking over their phone, it was a daily test of the military's communication system, but they had a wrong phone number associated with that test. I forget which channel I saw this on tough.
First Story: Dude deadass sounds like something out of a supernatural horror film
A bad one. How they thought that corny message would be believable is ridiculous, and the fact that so many people fell for it is even more so.
The first story sounds like that message is from the devil with a Antonio Banderas voice
6:40 Ad plays: "No no no no listen listen listen..."
Lol
It doesn’t matter what the subject is; it could be voicemails or anything else. Mr. Nightmare makes every single thing scary. Thank you so much for all the entertainment over the years!
Yeah👆Let's Talk
Thanks for the Feedback
You're indeed wonderful 😊💕😊
I have a surprise for you 🎁🎁🎁💯
I remember you! Admiring the bigger channels now? I respect that.
@@Thesuree I remember you too! I’ve been a Mr. Nightmare fan for years (can’t recall exactly how long, maybe even since soon after he started). And I enjoy leaving comments and starting discussions!
Sasha had good intuition with Jeremy.
This video was actually scary to me. I usually binge watch your videos but I actually had to take a 5 minute break watching memes.
This made me want to tear off my skin 💀
Fr 💀💀💀
Jade's story is the creepiest thing i've ever heard. I pray they get that person caught, i can't imagine what kind of fear Jade and her SO are living in right now....
Seriously! I had to look for a comment talking about it bc WTF!?
Jade better start carrying a hand gun with her. Holy cow, I couldn't imagine ever even leaving the house if someone was stalking me like that. I'd always be armed.
"Jade" and "the stalker" are probably laughing at how many people they've duped with their silly little hoax.
Did some digging, and number 2 was apparently a NORAD AWS message from a station codenamed ZF77 that was somehow intercepted by her phone. Somehow, the government must have screwed up the frequencies, and it ended once the Air Force realized the mistake. That's what I've read in comments on the original video, at least.
thank you !!! i was so curious it sounds so scary
Makes sense
Damn, broski is a detective..
That makes sense since they were using the phonetic alphabet which is most commonly used by air traffic/ pilots or basically anything to do with air travel
the dude in the first one sounded like the villain in a video game cutscene
nah nahhh! I watch these videos and they creep me out but they are SOOO Addictive
(That's when you know Mr.Nightmare is an Excellent horror Ytuber)
Mr. Nightmare, your videos always give me chills! The way you narrate the stories is so captivating, I can't help but feel like I'm right there with you. I swear, I heard something strange while watching your latest video, it almost felt like it was trying to reach out to me. Keep up the amazing work, you truly have a gift for scaring us all.
Im so glad Mr Nightmare does do videos like this because I dont think a lot of people understand how common stalking is. and videos like these really bring awareness to this issue. Thank you!
7:37 Sasha showed the police the text and the voice-mail, but did she show the police the stuffed turtle?
That's a good question lol
Bro 4 the girl trying to be ghostface with the “what’s your favorite scary movie” she’s seen to many movies 😂😂
that first story was terrifying until the voicemail, that was straight up ARG-core so I don't know how much I trust it right now.
BASED
More importantly, how did Steve turn into "Peter" halfway in the story (and then back to Steve)? As long as it gives Mr. Nightmare content, I guess.
@@huaxiong1990
He stated in a pinned comment that he screwed up the names.
@@huaxiong1990 he accidentally screwed up the names. Not the first time & he apologized for it. Probably just tired lol
it could still be real, but i don't see why a man being edgy is scary to a lot of these comments. it's scary that someone unhinged like that might hurt jade, but the message itself is so cringe
I love videos about scary voicemails, phone calls, texts etc. Keep up the great work, Mr. Nightmare!
The first voicemail, that sounded like this from a movie… . XD that’s hilarious. Yet unsettling if the victim doesn’t know the person…
Your a great story teller Good Job👍👍👍
WTF was that first Voice-mail? That was terrifying.
Right?! Scared me shitless.
@@manichannah I know right? I had to pause, turn on all of my lights, and then go hide down here in the comments.
Genghis you're better than this.
@@genghiskhan2056 You are not alone my friend
A demon
The fact the voicemails are played during the video adds another layer of reality to this that really creeped me up, normally Mr. Nightmare's videos are just a pastime for me, this time I actually felt unnerved.
No fr Im hiding in the comments rn cus the last story gave me the worst kind of chills
The first voicemail sounds like I’ve just started the Easter egg on Der Riese
That first one would have been way creepier if there hadn’t been all the “scary” post effects being applied to the voice. Voicemail calls are kind of creepy on their own.
I don't think Mr. Nightmare changed it. I think either the caller used a voice-changer and/or app.....or the more unlikely reason was they were called by a demon. :)
So scary. I am not sure why I listen to these at night in the dark
I never do
@@York22 yeah I shouldn’t because then when I hear a noise i jump
Me too! I can’t sleep now, I think someone is in my house! I locked my bedroom door 🥺😭
