- First Sergeant Jerry Holeman is the lead investigator trying to solve the murders of Libby German, 14, and Abby Williams, 13, in Delphi, Indiana. He admits it's been a roller coaster of emotions through the 16,000 tips and 500 interviews, but he remains confident that "Today is the Day" they'll get the tip that leads them to the girls' killer.
I'm watching this 4 YEARS LATER!! They need to catch this guy.

Feb 2020 still no arrests. There has to be a reason why they can’t give out more audio.. obviously we don’t want or need to hear the girls suffering though for many reasons personal and professional. it seems like they are wanting something “confirmed” rather been told random info.
My theory is that it's all they have, and they don't want the killer to know. They want to leave him guessing that the entire thing may have been recorded.

While sympathetic, it really aggravates me when journalists ask how law enforcement officials are handling things emotionally.
Journalist have no heart. They are not even true journalist anymore. They are political activists.
That would definitely be a tough job. But as any profession each has there own dirty employees. One of our head prosecutor was busted running a sex trafficking ring. Around the same time as Judge Fouts also the whole unravel of Epstien & Our MSU head Dr. Sometimes people use there power weather it be a job or money corruption is everywhere! If you don't release the rest of the footage you have you will never catch this person. Is it bc they already know who it is and are waiting for him to trip up or something? No reason they can't release it after 2 yrs.
I believe they know.. people want them to release more info..they have to keep it close to the vest.. what part of this, does people not understand? they can’t afford any mistakes bc, when arrests are made and this case gets in court.. they have to have their i dotted and their t crossed.. don’t knock the police , they didn’t ask us to solve this case.. it’s their case !

They asked about an abandoned car at the cps building but don't mention if it was a white four door sedan or dark suv, etc. They have to withhold a lot, I get that, but they are with holding a ton. And then they want tips on OBG, then it's the new BG sketch. I mean they ask for help but they are all. over. the. map.
They should record all the police saying “guys..down the hill”. I thought the NSA or FBI had all our voices recorded. What’s going on.

Jerry was my football coach in high school. He's a good guy. I'm sure he's doing his best.
If you listen to the way the locals talk and the way the audio sounds the killer has a different accent he's not from there. They don't have the jurisdiction or resources to solve this case.
I agree his accent is a bit more southern than Delphi. He could have moved to Delphi years ago but still holds a different accent. I can travel to the northern part of Indiana and there is a different accent there. Same thing with southern Indiana.

@@cuckertarlson5310 Kinda odd that the sketch looks just like this detective and the voice matches pretty well. This guy also has more of a southern accent like you mentioned. Plus he actually fits the body size of BG better than RA seems to.

If the investigators and police are so sure BG lives in or is from Delphi they have DNA why do they not swab all the people who live there to find a match of a family member? Set up a drive through site and have people show ID for proof of residency. I am sure people in the community would want to do all they can to find BG.

All of them from the state police down should be extremely embarrased that this guy slipped away and is still free 4yrs now. As far as I am concerned it's bad police work which allows criminals to go free. Very sad.
Example, watch some old detective shows and you will see ego, apathy and so on among the police. Every Columbo episode shows how all the detectives were ready to close the case but Columbo saw things they missed and caught his man or woman. They really all look like fools if you pay attention to the show. Same in real life unfortunately.
I think the police and FBI are doing a good job.......However, I don't think they should have postponed the search overnight for these girls. I don't care how hard it would have been in the dark, they could have continued. This caused hours of delay in finding them.
You are correct, I don't know how the sheriff got away with that. The state where I am from you can't stop a search for a minor/child or you will be out of a job fast. Poor police work again sadly, that's how all these criminals get away. If they were more dilligent this guy would not have been able to escape the area and or county. I doubt that this suspect/evil monster will ever be caught by now.
I 100% agree! I can't understand it. The girls were found right there! It doesn't make sense that they were not found sooner and that the search was called off. That is all strange to me.

BG is limping and a tear in his jean's on the right knee. Has urgent care or hospitals been check when this occurred or going back a few months for injuries or needing surgeries in an area of 30 or so minute drive from Delphi? Starting with Delphi first. It could have been an injury at a work place. Maybe it might jog someone's memory.

In the vicinity of the crime scene, are there any houses for sale and or vacant property? Is the area known for possible drug manufacturing within the confines of that trail? Any homeless population known to frequent those trails?
Daniel Nations is in fact a meth addict and if there was any type drug activity on any of that property it would be in my opinion the" Bando" the abandoned house I hear tell of not far off from the bridge

DNA Familiar Geneology should be used in this case they have solved decade old cases through relatives by building a family tree.

Some of the family statements don’t seem to add up. Initially was looking elsewhere, but I think the key to this is Sun 12th Feb and the possibility that the killer has dragged others into this mess. And is there a possibility that the bg film was actually staged?

Mayor is on my list. Or the old Mayor who has now moved to the DA's office. Seems really sus to me. And the city can't find it's minutes for the Feb. 2017 meeting that was used as an alibi for mor than one person of interest.

Calamityj -- According to a supposed police source, they both had their throats slits and the smaller of the two girls did not die from the wound but was too injured to stand and move and died from exposure hours later. Again, that's according to the supposed police inside source going around here so who knows for sure. Tragic either way. Hope they find the piece of crap soon.

Someone needs to tell him that there s a new type of DNA test that will show kinship and genealogy up to 5 generations . If they run this test it will narrow the search for the suspect tremendously especially if a family member has DNA on file .
