I don’t have it sorry
I am so disappointed to hear the new Fairy Fencer doesn't have English dub...
The dialogue was so funny in the first game, and the voice actors were fantastic!
Yay a new Ircha video. :) You're the Switch CZcamsr who I trust the most for my reviews. Thank you for keeping them coming!
Thank you so much 🔥😍😍
Shes the best
My copies of Fairy Fencer,Little Witch Nobeta and Trinity Trigger arrived yesterday and I can't wait to play them all. I loved the first Fairy Fencer game which I still have the original on the PS3 and also played Advent Dark Force version too. I have waited years for a new game. Little Witch Nobeta definitely had been on my radar too and Trinity Trigger was a must because it reminds me of the mana series and the games I grew up playing in the 90's,plus it has couch co op which is exciting for me and my brothers. Going to take a break from Jedi Survivor today to play these games. Love your videos always Ircha!
I'm also playing Trinity Trigger right now 😁👍 really good!!
@@ircha Really? That is awesome! I actually didn't know if it was on anyone else's radar! 😅 Glad to know I wasn't alone in the hype of it. Also I am a huge Atelier fan myself,I am playing Ryza 2 currently also. But I have played every Atelier game (except for the one's we didn't get here in the U.S) and I love the series so much. My brother actually tried to get into it because of me,but he didn't like it much. 😅
I'd have picked up Trinity Trigger already, but we didn't get a nice physical version in Europe - seems to only be for America!
@@xtranathor8143 Really? That is a bummer. I honestly never understood why certain things aren't across the board when it comes to that type of thing. I been gaming since the late 80's and I understood it back then because things were different ,but now in the modern age you would think things like that would be available simultaneously considering how global gaming has pretty much been.
@@UpsetN3RD to be clear, there is a physical version, but it's just standard. The Day 1 edition in America got a soundtrack and maybe an art book too? The difference is probably because XSEED handle America while Marvelous handle Europe. TBH Europe normally gets better physical copies than America, but it's a shame that the entire world can't enjoy the highest standards all the time.
Great video and i agree with everything you said. I loved the English voices in Idea Factory games as well, even if it was the same voice actors across franchises a lot of the time. They were so good. I also love Little Witch Nobeta, played it all the way back with it's Early Access on Steam and finally did a full playthrough last year, and it has gone through a lot of positive changes. Sadly it also had a little social media cancelling, which really reduced it's potential player numbers, over a risky costume for the player character which the devs immediately pulled from the Steam store again. Not gonna go into details, everybody who plays the game can probably already see why there would be outrage over a risky costume.
I been waiting for your video for ages
Great reviews as always 😊👍
I like that your reviews are genuine and not fake like some other youtubers. You tell how you truly feel
No map at the end of Nobeta where it’s all dark frustrated me enough that I gave up on it. Up till that point I really liked it.
I dont come by here much, but when I saw the new fairy fencer I knew exactly who to look for. The gameplay ! XD thanks
Haha the "AND U?" -part cracked me up 😆
Thanks for the video!
And U??? 🔥
I loved nobeta!! Such a cute game! I played it on switch! And it played great on my switch! I couldn’t put it down. I finished the game. And it was just such a great experience! Can’t wait to play fairy fencer ! I love tactical rpgs! And I love the first game so much.
Im def buy Atelier Ryza 3 n Labyrinth of Galleria also Little Witch Nobeta looks Interesting a anime Souls Like is a interesting n cool combination indeed
Yes!! More Ircha
Awesome video , you are a massive inspiration to us smaller creators 👌👌
Very nice and decorative art style edition boxes! If I remember correctly, you can also listen CDs with PS3..
You and Johnny are my Switch leaders.
That's a big honor! Thank you!
Nice video. Same as you, the lack of english voices in Fairy fencer is a huge con since it was so good in the first one!
Also the tactical gameplay seems unnecessary, i just wanted the usual which was fine!
So i might pick it up in sales. As for the other game, i won't buy it but i'd probably use ice magic since i love ice element in general.
I love steel cases, i used them instead of regulars. Nowaday i'm full digital anyway.
ty for making this video haha i wanted to play both XD specially witch. i love anything atelier or witchy :3
Love the podcast Easter egg drop.
“And you?”
And U??🔥 Diskydisk meme 😂 👍
Thx for review it s no my wish list :)
CE/LE terminology are generally interchangeable, but if multiple versions exist, then I'd say CE is a higher rating than LE.
I adore the Little Witch Nobeta CE - it's super cute and has so many collectibles that tick all the boxes for me. It's just a shame that the price reflects this - it's the most expensive CE I've purchased in a long time, and is higher than the "standard" price of CEs sold on the IFFY store front. I own the CE of both of these for the Switch - the CE/LE for games sold by IFFY almost never disappoint!
GAH, dont tempt me. Between the last PS sale and now the golden week one, I am now officially thoroughly down the Atelier rabbit hole, for the first time in me life. (Finished Ryza 1 and into 2, thinking of starting Arland). It if that wasnt bad enough I bought my first Cold Steel game, while trying to finish Judgement and Blue Reflection 2.... but these also look like so much fun...
Going for Arland before Ryza 3?
@@xtranathor8143 after playing both of them back to back, I just needed a break. And, more so, 3 is still full price and I am being cheap!
I’ve been interested in steel book’s recently
Little Witch Nobeta is such an A E S T H E T I C~. The art is all crisp and wholesome, I wish the game was closer to it or a had more to do in general. Maybe the Dev should play some Atelier and get inspired to have an Alchemy update. Artificery would be neat to, to develop magical enchanted gadgets.
Style it more after Breath of the Wild / Genshin, and keep deep dungeon delving to the Dungeons that dot the map. More collectable outfits found in-game with separate parts (Hat component, Body component, Legs component, Jewelry component with or without a separate Left Ring / Right Ring system for enchanted rings.)
... A Breath-Genshin x Skyrim with a Witch aesthetic game may be my ideal dream game or close to it.
>
Side note, as it's another favorite theme, but I wish there were more Princess themed games that aren't meant for 6 year olds and look like a flash game from 2010... Like Fable with the Princess/Prince start, but where that was actually relevant and you had princess gameplay and events to attend to when back home from adventuring perhaps in secret so you have stealth game play sneaking in and out of the castle and having a time crunch to complete an objective so you can sneak back into the castle before anyone notices and try to get enough sleep to manage your Fatigue resources... with items you can find to help with fatigue / sleep management.
Maybe there's even some classes that have their own minigames. Etiquette class (A memory-puzzle type thing where you remember a sequence and order of things to do with things like silverware placement and portion control or something), Dancing class could be like a Beat game with your character dancing and stumbles when you miss beats, and some magic classes that help justify why you're competent in a dungeon.
It'd be kinda fun if the Companion system were a bunch of Princes and Heroes foreign and domestic, so you have a Bioware-like relationship(s) sidestory that is directly relevant to the princess theme since who ends up your husband is often a big part of the theme, play your cards right and you might have a secret mistress aside or elope with a woman, or start a harem (As either one of x wives or collect multiple men)....
.... I'll stop rambling.
I'll sometimes buy a secondhand game that I don't care about just because it has a nice steel book. They really add something to a game collection.
Fairy fencer is my favorite compile hearts game and i was soooo excited to see it getting a sequel! Ive put about 12 hours into it and absolutely love it. The writing has me laughing out loud a lot. I speak japanese so the language isnt lost on me personally. Thank you for reviewing this.
Have you tried Little Noah Scion of Paradise? That is an anime style, super cutesy
I actually played that one and loved it! Very fun game
Play-doh art style for the models would take some getting used to but it looks pretty good.
I am planning on picking up Fairy Fencer F eventually either on Switch or PS5. I have not yet decided on which version.
I used to stick CD's in my PS2. I get steelbooks for movies.
I was thinking of getting Little Witch but I after watching your video I think it might be too hard for me. As a senior citizen I find my reflexes aren’t what they used to be so I struggle more with hard combat now.
que bonita la edición collector de Nobeta
Hi Ircha, does the Little Witch Nobeta game has English audio or English subtitles only?
Have you tried hareststella? Square rpg / farming game
Yeah! 😁 I'm not done with it though 💪
I take my steel books out, I don't go crazy for them, but its a plus.
I am thinking about buying the limited edition for little witch nobeta
It's super cute! My favourite LE in ages, but the price is also steep this time
It's tough when a game you play for hours in Dub and the sequel only in Sub.
I use the 8BitDo Pro2. So much better with docked switch. Little witch Nobeta is fun once I got used to the difficulty. The cutsy art style tricks my brain into thinking it is an easy kids game.
Little Witch Nobeta is an underrated masterpiece
there are only chiiiickan kinda games in this video, but its exciting 😊
Guys I have a question.. I ordered a physical copy of Skyrim switch.. just asking do I still need to update it and if I need to do I need an internet connection?
Idol Music????!!! Yeah, see, now I have to get it. It's the same thing that made me buy both Caligula Effects. 😂❤ I don't even like FE type games but since there is idol music I guess I'll get it.
what is the frame rate for the fairy fencer f refrain chord on switch and ps4?
I ordered little witch nobeta from play Asia the collector edition and paid for it at the end they said it’s not available
Hi it is important to mention that it was developed by STING, best of the best in RPGs and Tactical RPGs.
Heavily debating about Nobeta between ps4 and switch, but theres no performance comparisons or a demo. It being a action game, I feel like ps4 is the safer bet.
I think you can put cds into your consoles?
I never thought about people with a different mother tongue not being huge fans of the original Japanese language! It makes sense!
Are you going to give Octopath Traveler 2 a try?
Proper gaming chick
I love you
If you boost up your HASTE equal to tour intelligence on your second play through, you are gonna hate yourself for even caring about health😂 HASTE AND INTELLIGENCE IS OP💯💪🏽
Your playstation could play the cds with music😂
Sleep wear holding glamor!
Still it is a good Tactical RPG.
I’m interested in Little Witch 🧙♀️ Nobeta, but would like it physically, and it’s priced at $50.00 that way. Is it worth that price? What’s a comparable soulslike in quality?
It's probably not worth 50 dollars. It's more like a 20-30 dollar worth of a game ☺️ but I did enjoy it!
@@ircha ok 👍 thanks for letting me know
HNew upload!! Hi! Does Ircha respond? 🥺
Yes I do 😁
The Xbox series X plays CD’s DVD’s and Blu Rays
Did you enjoy Eternal Sonata?
I never played that! I remember wanting that ages ago 😂 never got around to getting it!
@Ircha Gaming you really need to play it, it's amazing. Art style, story and soundtrack. Can't speak highly enough of it.
Eternal Sonata was so good! I actually was disappointed more people didn't play it. I would talk to my friends about it all the time about how great it was and even other gamers I meet who are into jrpg games.
I love fairy fencer and I am a huge fan of the 2013 release. I often replay the game, as I love the funny cute charm and the gameplay. This sequel is a let down for me. No english dub and gameplay is not my thing.
i love my CD players 😊
I watched a video of like 200+ JRPG video series rankings, and he only put ONE in the "F" category. I immediately thought of you because the only one he did was Hyperdimension Neptuna. lol. He doesn't hate it just finds them incredibly boring gameplay/story wise. (video was like 2 hours)
I watch switch game reviews yet I still have yet to buy a game for my switch... I feel hard pressed to justify spending so much money on switch games compared to PC games... It feels much more removed and less interactable... On PC I have so many options to mess with the game files to make it my own experience if anything is obnoxious to me, whether that's Modding or just manipulating values... I have a hard enough time buying PC games because I don't know that the money to use ratio would be good enough since I'm spoiled by growing up on Bethesda games that are infinitely playable with good enough base replayability but then also effectively endless mods to keep it new.
Need a minimum if 1 dollar = 1 hour else it feels like a waste.
Any Switch games that hold up to that minimum or exceed it?
I enjoyed the Child-Bayonetta demo but it's a full priced game I'm not sure of... And I'll definitely save for Tears of the Kingdom though I never bought Breath of the Wild myself I played too much of it on friend's systems to justify buying it myself even though I never finished it all. Played Arceus, and currently my only game is Scarlet.
Some of these game titles are getting so long. For me it depends. Sometimes dubs and translations are really bad. I had to get the Japanese version of Samurai Maidens.
❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘
I think this the 3rd ff game
The "second" FF game was an expansion of the original game, so not really a second game, but more like a re-release
@@xtranathor8143 oh okay
Eh, I won't get Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord and Little Witch Nobeta because of the lack of English voices, but I hope that the people who buy those games enjoy them. I can't deny that Little Witch Nobeta looks appealing, with that combat in real time and spells. Even so, I'm not interested, no dub no buy for now...
Hi Ircha, you say your big problem with FFF was you don't like Japanese voice acting but you love the Atleier games, of which many including the Ryza games you love, are Japanese voice acting too.
And I'm saying the same thing about the Atelier games, which did have English voice acting for several years up to Atelier Firis... Then they stopped having English VA. It's frustrating even in the Atelier games 😂 👍
@@ircha Yeah I agree and thanks for replying. The Ryza games are so good even without English voices, but they'd be even better with them! It's frustrating that small games like Neptunia can have such great English voice acting but Gust can't afford that, or is just being cheap, with many of their games, even though the Ryza games have made them a lot of money for niche JRPGs.
Your PS4 can play the CD, right?
I didn't think of that lmao 😂
Unfortunately the lack of English dub is becoming normalized. I don't like this, IMO lack of English dub lowers the score 2 points so a 10/10 game instantly becomes an 8/10 for me so this means I will never pay anything above half price for that game. I have a long backlog, I can wait
Bought it because
I prefer tactical RPGs more
I play most games on Japanese dub because most English jokes are cringe
Yeah the absence of English dubs are a huge let down
If a game only has japanese VA just turn voice volume OFF. It will help because it'' be more like a book which is more enjoyable IMO.
i think a ps5 can play music cd's
I love Nirvana, I love Norway, I love !f/compile heart
Please marry me 🫴❤
And I too tend to smell new things 😁
Hello my friend don’t get mad un popular opinion hereI like fairy fencer 1 over 2 have a nice day
That's exactly what I kept saying too 😁
@@ircha thank you have a great day my fairy lady
