You think it's a good beginner bike? I do. More reviews to watch czcams.com/play/PLC0dZgVosHtsxPvzkIDswjw2YjCVodY6Y.html
Did you happen to notice if it would not go into second while you were stationary?
If it does do that they have the Kawasaki gearbox and engine. The local CFMoto has confirmed the engine is Kawasaki. I’m riding a Z650RS and looking at giving my bike to my short ass wife as she can flat foot it and getting the CFmoto 650MT for myself
I've owned one for nearly 2 years and I think it is an amazing bike for the price point.
Have you had any maintenance done in it? And if so , was it hard to get parts, etc?
@@davidgesell other than standard services no. It's been an awesome bike so far.
Have you never had any problems? At the CFMoto dealer in Turkey, I saw a brand new MT650 that leaked all of its oil or coolant because of a production fault...
@peaceofmindalpi I can only testify to my experience and I have had no issues at all.
@@stevedobson7837 I am glad to hear that thanks mate ride safe 🙏
I've got this bike (EU version) since Dec '22. I'm a tall and heavy guy (often riding with a pillion), so adjustable suspension and preload on the rear is a life saver. Had a faulty rear shock from the factory and they replaced it under warranty (3 years in the EU) no questions asked. The engine is quick enough for someone who's looking for an all-rounder, and build quality is otherworldy especially once you factor in the cost. I love it and I'd only replace it if I wanted something faster.
How is it on the highway?
@@dronepilot260rc Really solid, 130 kmh at approximately 5.5k RPM, windscreen is adequate (might need to get extension if you're taller than 185cm, easily handles pillion and luggage.
Have a 2022 650 ADVentura and now have over 8000 km. Absolutely love the bike, not one issue at all so far. Going into my second oil change very soon. Will change out the tires to a Shinko 705 as I live in the country
I got the CFMOTO Ibex 800T. It’s their full-size or mid size adventure bike. Love it so far
650 Adventura is the smoothest riding CFMoto in my opinion. OEM cruise control would make this bike #1 on my list.
That would indeed be nice. I'm curious about the 800MT also. It seems to have a lot of bells and whistles and goes more into the adventure area rather than sport touring.
I'm considering the Adventura. Can you get cruise control and heated grips for it? Those features are important for me and I just want a smooth comfortable daily rider because my Harley is more of weekend local bike and not great for commuting or long distance highway rides. In wondering if the Adventura has enough power as well to cruise comfortably at lower rpms around 75-80 mph without feeling like I'm beating the engine up?
Hi! Great video as allways! I have Cf moto 650 mt for about 4 months and bike now has 5000 miles and runninig great! Zero problems! Before that I had Honda cbf 1000 and wanted to buy new bike with zero miles on it! With my bugdet I chose Cf 650 mt and for the money is the best bike in my opinion in this category! Honda has 108 hp and Cf 60 hp and is very fun to ride, I dont feel that has only "60" hp! I ride often two up and is doing great! Time will tell! When I will need more power I will by bigger bike again! But for normal use, crusing around, doing some trip two up is great bike! Breaks are great, seating position, wind protection, engine is pulling nice! 👍
I had been researching about this bike for a while and all the videos from Australia, Philippines and India suggested that it rode pretty good and was surprisingly well built. Apparently, owners seem to think that it's fairly reliable. I was fortunate enough to get to ride it back to back with a Versys 650, a V-Strom 650 and the Tiger 660 and compare the equipment, ride quality and feel. It's not top of the heap, but it's fairly competitive.
Which was top of the heap? Would you please rank the bikes in order? Thank you.
I watched your video on this and found it extremely informative. Thank you.
I like the way they did the brake rez. They could've just phoned that bit in, but they made it look nice and made it visible.
Does it come with bags? Where would you get aftermarket hard cases for it?
I just took my MSF on a DR200SE. I did my double U-turn in the 4 parking spots. I do have previous riding experience tho. So I did have the bike leaned and a lot of the other riders thought that the dual sport just was able to lean more.
Who knew this brand goes back at least to 2014? Was looking at used listings and a 650 Tk model popped up. I had never heard of it, and it's like exactly what I imagine my ideal bike to be. A relatively light sportish tourer with nicely integrated rack and matchy side cases! 3500 miles $3950 with a 2 year CF Moto unlimited mile warranty with $50 deductible!
What brand of gloves are you wearing?
Hi Fast Eddie, great video. Do you think you will have a chance to review the CSC RX6? Or made be the RX4 even though there are videos already, I'd rather listen to your perspective.Thanks.
Is it possible to do a rewiew of cf 300 nk?
Thanks👍
I Demo rode one today , and like Jitsu I was surprised at my enjoyment of the ride. I think they also have a 900 cc. Model in this bike. CFMOTO knows how to build 🏍 .
In the process of getting one! Thats why im here.. found a HELL of a deal on fb marketplace. Wasnt my first model choice, but couldnt pass it up.
Looking forward to see you try the 800mt next
I found a deal on one for a new 2022 (they are trying to get rid of them) for $3675 and $5375 out the door price. Is this a good deal for this bike?? I currently have a 2003 Honda vtx and am looking to change order but unsure what to do!
How would you rate themm for offroading?
I wonder if my country assembly this motorcycle poorly, some of the parts are good some is not fit properly🥲. Just asking, is the mode only change the throttle response not the fuel combustion thingy?
For a first bike you can't go wrong.
Not sure about the US market, but resale value would not be great.
But you would still be ahead due to lower upfront.
Another good review of CF Moto. Thank you.
Got a gsxs1000 from 2019. Thinking for a downgrade under 1000cc 🤔🤔 you ve tested so many bikes.. can you recomand something? In the range of 90-95 or more Hp. Naked preferably. 🤔🤔 any help here? Mt09? Cbr650r? The new hornet? Something that can carry 2 up from time to time that means not a tiny passager seat like the z900 has.. i am stuck 🤦♂️ to many details?
do you work for that dealership?
can this bike be lowered?
Before you're done test riding the CF Moto bikes, I would like to see you test ride their 300NK 2023.5. But I hope it is the 2023.5 and not the 2023.
One can immediately tell if it's a 2023.5 model because the front turn signal lights are much lower on the side - on the fairing and not up by the handlebar.
Thanks! :)
I really like all of them!
Cost?
How does it compare to a honda cb500x in terms of comofort, maneuverability etc
Finally a good review under 15min
I was considering the the CFMOTO CLX700 Sport, it's an amazing bike loaded with plenty of features. What hold me back was the resale value in the market. You devide the price by 3 after 2 years.. 😢
I bought a used street rod 750 as my first bike, will see what will be next... ride safely guys!!
I don't see any data to support your assertion that these bikes will lose 66.6% of their value in 2 years. I hope you're right so I can pick up an 800T for $3500 in 2025.
@@Ry-lx2kl Please find two of them for me too ...
I know it's unrelated but are you going to do a wheelie update?
I bought a used 2022 650 Adventura yesterday. It had 6 miles on it before my ride home. I picked it up for $5500 out the door and at that price I could not pass it up. I am a new rider and traded my Duke 390 toward the Adventura. My Duke was awesome but a little too small and was uncomfortable on longer rides.
I’ve been working with a dealership and have the offer of a new one for $5375 out the door and wasn’t sure if that was a great deal or not so I appreciate your comment!
In Europe, you can get the factory crash bars added for about 200$
Will you review also the 800MT Touring?
I think he will upload the video tomorrow or the next day, in the US, we call it the “Ibex 800 T” but it’s the same bike
So far these cfmoto bikes get good reviews and at half the price of Japanese counterparts..
Definitely not half the price, more like 80-90% of the price of their Japanese counterparts. At least here in Europe.
@@Hellbull89they're too expensive in Europe or Japanese bikes are too cheap there
@@chrispekel5709 the first option, definitely
I love mine!
CFMoto is doing awesome job! If they continue this way,in few year they will be up there with the best when people talking about bike's! I have cf Moto nk 300... great bike...in spring i will change him for sr450 or GT650 i still didn't decide! But i will not change to other brands, I'm more than satisfied with CFMoto.
Excellent bike for the money, great warranty as well.
Fuel injected? Built in China? What’s the warranty?
Thanks
Every model is fuel injected, comes with a 2 year warranty, and the HQ is in Minnesota. Also, every model with the exception of the Papio comes equipped with ABS and slipper clutch.
Compared to the Benelli TRK502?
have you tried to ride maxi scooters before 🤔🤔
Quick question I am exactly the same hight as you, did you feel it comfortable or did you feel it too tall?
instagram.com/motojitsuclub/
anyone know about parts availability with CF Motos? I've heard theres no parts for these (oem oil filters for example) and I've heard theres plenty so which is it lol
Who said that? Easy to get..online or at dealers
There are non-oem filters that fit
Why use OEM filters when you can simply use a MANN W610/3 or W68/3? Or similar? I've had no issues with them on my MT650 and have a better trust in them as a brand. 🤷🏻♂️
I am 6’3 and I already have adv bike. Long legs short torso looking for super sport for track days, entry /mid bike range. 350-600cc.. recommendations?))
Hmm.. interesting proposition this bike. What do you think compared to the Honda CB500X? In Europe price difference is almost 2000 euro and the 650MT as it's advertised here comes with crashbars and luggage supports where on the Honda is extra costs.
I bought a CB500X and drove it for 170 miles then sold it. I was so disappointed with how much vibration was in the handlebars on an otherwise super smooth bike.
Yea go for this bike, it’s cheaper, has more features, and so far it has proved itself for other parts of the world
For the price of the CB500x, you can get a CFMOTO Ibex 800! Do what you think is best but I try to find value for my money. For arguments sake, I did just that when shopping for my latest bike which happened to be the CLX 700 sport.
@@nickolaslewis4416 The Ibex is an amazing value for sure. At the time I bought a CB500X, Ibex was not yet in our showroom. Turns out it's too tall for me to feel comfortable on anyway. I am very happy with my 700 CL-X. I also have a Goldwing for longer rides. I hope your 700 is amazing!
I don't know about the newer CF Moto models, but its models are known to have many reliability issues. It's good to see more competitors jumping into the market.
It's all that Chinesium that they use.
40.000 km with my NK400, nothing mayor, some sensors and basic maintenance. I change oil every 5k KM
@@kugangles9860 Most things are from China, cry about it, it's a quality bike. Go buy an overpriced Harley that won't go half the speed or mileage
@@kugangles9860personally I have one of the atvs, and the thing is fuckin bulletproof. I've literally jumped it like 20ft and have no issues so far. 1500 miles of just fuckin abuse and it keep coming back for more
10 years ago. Quality has improved a lot
I'm about to buy my 1st bike and have the CFMOTO 650MT as my number 1 choice. Can anyone give me a valid reason why I shouldn't???
I'm sure you are going to be fine if you are intentioned to use your bike for touring or commuting on relatively spacious roads (I don't find the lock-to-lock travel of the handlebars awesome for tight traffic). Generally i would think that a lighter bike would be easier to learn on, but my father started on a full-size tourer and he's fine, so I'm sure it's ok.
Don't fall for the trick a lot of manufacturers use of labelling their touring bikes as "Adventure bikes" as if that would imply dirt-road capabilities. This is not the kind of bike you want to find yourself on as a newbie when tackling difficult terrain. Graded gravel, good dirt roads and a little snow is fine, of course, but if you go offroading with this bike you are jumping into the deep end of the pool. Other than that, it's a fine bike, i just get annoyed when manufacturers pull these stupid marketing ploys.
Have fun with your new machine! Welcome to the community!
Great video. I'm tall and looking for my first bike. So this one might be a winner.
If you are in california, in the SF Bay area in concord they are selling one of these for $5700, super tempting but I already own an MT07
@newbierides Tempting but I'm in Vegas. Appreciate the heads.
I have test riden the CFMOTO 650MT and the Yamaha MT07 back to back. I loved both and found similarities and a lot of differences. The MT07 felt faster, but the 650MT rode better and definitely braked harder and stopped faster. I am seriously considering the 650MT over the MT07
I’m taking mine camping this weekend..
I heard it uses the kawi er6f engine
Twitchy throttles can surprise people, more so at low speeds.
I found these for a really good deal locally, but I'm too short :(
:)

I am really interested in seeing how long CF is going to keep those low prices.
I think it's about the same as Royal Enfield. Internet warriors buy more bike than they need deciding purely on spec sheets and bragging rights. If you build a functional bike for a price point instead of specs, you can get way lower on price without much drop in reliability. My RE Himalayan is living example of this. Some may think it's dog slow and low quality, but the reality is that it's a solid bike that i paid full cash out of basically pocket money. And in real street conditions, not many riders can responsibly go faster than a Himalayan can take them.
@@max-zv7sf interesting that you have gotten to the point where you can build your own bike, how long did that take?
@@tjey379 i have built it with the magic of bad phrasing 😁.
Sorry, English is not my first language, i should have used a clearer expression. Still, point stands, there are a lot of bikes that offer way more than what the average biker can get out of them.
Being honest about one own's skills and needs can save a lot of money.
@@max-zv7sf ohhhh, sorry, am not English either maybe my interpretation skills are the problem but yes I agree with you completely since I ride a 300cC Chinese bike and love it and hope to add another one to it.
I believe that motorcycles are supposed to be simple, beautiful , yes
but mostly simple.
Prices will remain low as long as they have cheap labor, low tariffs, and competition.
👏👏👍👍
Im gonna collect CFmoto bikes... Ill have q bike for everyday of the week for 35 grand😂 JK, but its and idea
Decent bike for a beginner. Resale values for these Chinese bikes are horrid. Just keep that in mind when you buy one.
I would say that depends on your country and the condition of the bike. Here in Australia the resale value is quite high.
I may agree that cf Moto is a fine machine.
But I'll always support our own, and our allies. Chinese cf Moto NoNo
Arch,Buell, Japanese, ktm even has cf Moto building their engine so they are off the table.
Buy local, keep our industry alive
Rotax builds Buells engines.
I only buy 100% organic motorcycles at my local farmers market
The problem is nearly everything we buy these days has parts either made in China or some other country. Buying local really only applies in certain industries. In the car and motorcycle industry that is impossible. Even HD has several components made in other countries. If people really wanted to see industry come back (which I doubt it ever will) then everyone would stop buying IPhones, appliances, and mostly anything electronic that we use.
Allies... WWII China was our ally against Japan. Its all about common interests. If you're interested in an inexpensive bike that you can get parts online, you cannot beat these type of bikes. Made in China a problem fer ya... abandon your smart phone...
@@beaulunawolf1198 if it all goes south with china you won’t have much choice in what you buy.
I wonder how many human rights have been violated in making these CF Moto bikes?!
They aren't made with prison labour lol, they're from a factory that has a brand new KTM facility across the road
Hahahha. Because it has a low/competitive price vs other brands?
