Hi Eddie, Thanks. I still have one more video of the DIY gun to upload. After that I'll start working on powder coating my motorcycles with my DIY gun. So I'll make a blasting cabinet and a bigger oven. That is the plan this year.

@@user-gx1sv3hj9k Hi. I think this will be the last DIY gun that I make, the one you will see towards the end of the video. Further improvements could be 3D printing a proper powder coating gun but I'm only into using recycled materials. Some viewers sent me photos of their DIY gun and a lot of them are really creative. Like somebody make a DIY powder coating gun out of a TIG torch, or somebody else using a spray gun.

Thanks. Honestly, I think my videos like this one is not really entertaining so not many people will want to watch. Especially now that CZcams algorithm is pushing more on TikTok style contents. If there is even one or two audience that appreciate my work, then I will continue to share my hobby to CZcams.
@@DIYPhil we may be few, but we are strong. I bought one of those kits. Ended up using two different ac to dc transformers. I think I have the voltages wrong. I like your dual voltage controllers off the power source. Genius.

If I have a SMPS that can be turned down to 18 volts, then I don't need to have the additional DC-DC converters. A series resistor can be connected to the solenoid valves to that they will still get 12 volts from the main 18 volts supply.
does the coil have numbers on it as you have said for conection, how will i know which is the secondary coil?
Hi. This is a step up transformer so the secondary coil has more turns and therefore uses thinner wire. So looking at the wires through the clear epoxy you can see the thinner wires. That's the secondary. Another way is to measure resistance with an ohmmeter. Secondary will have much higher resistance.

Any adjustable voltage DC power supply should work
