    I'm going to have to watch this video again to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

    Out of the hundreds upon hundreds of lock picking videos I've watched, this is by far the most indepth video on using a bypass decoder of this type. This video actually gives you a better detailed perspective on how to use both sides of the tool properly. Most of the other videos are really vague and just give a basic idea on using one. Excellent video.
    Good job Lock Noob.

    Very cool Ash, I’m Devin or OUTLAW ORGANICS. Awesome to see different perspectives from different people as not all people learn the same way. Love the videos you put out, would love to see another hand’s only thing with you LPL and maybe bring Bosnian Bill out of retirement.
    Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills and keep up the great work.

    Ive had a lot of success using steel cable ties, but not so good with the more narrow spaces. The Dangerfield Decoders are very good in my opinion . Cheers mate. Blessings and respect ✌🏽🕊️🍻

    Great review Ash, I was wondering how you could do over ten minutes on decoders but you did a great job. Thanks for addressing the question I was thinking the whole time, at the end - what about decoding the flat spots on the wheels? Thanks again 😊🙏

    • @LockNoob
      @LockNoob  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I know that ‘flat spots’ are a little bit of an older technique, but it’s still valid. I’d love to see a triple set

      Yeah I’ve made them that way myself but it’s not always cheaper or better tbh

    The Master 175 got me: I warped the thinner tool and wasn't able to open it this way.

    I’d third the comparison between the notched and “standard” like the Peterson or Sparrows.
    Never sure if the notch is more of a gimmick or a useful thing as I’ve always gotten along with Peterson deciders without issue; though 2 of these for the price of one of theirs isn’t bad. I believe the Sparrows is cheaper but it has a much larger handle; always thought their handle would be great on a bypass knife or even pucks though.

    • @LockNoob
      @LockNoob  Před 8 měsíci +1

      The notch is essential for decoding by grabbing the locking bar

    Hey, I have a question for you about SPP. I've really been enjoying using the monkeys, to the point where I'm not sure why I would use anything else. I haven't encountered a lock that I could not pick with a monkey but I could pick it with something else. So why do you use other picks for SPP? Are others faster? Just want more of a challenge?

    • @LockSpaz
      @LockSpaz Před 8 měsíci +1

      Depends what locks you've been picking. On some locks, especially small ones, and particularly European locks, the chambers are smaller and/or more closely spaced together than locks you might be tackling; on these, greater precision and a smaller hook tip may be necessary.

    • @LockNoob
      @LockNoob  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I’m really glad you like the monkey paws. They are great, but there will be locks where they are just not suited for due to their wider tips

      In my native language he if isaying - if you translate directly, that the thicker is 1/10000 of a inch which is very very thin :)
