- The Old Town of Tallinn transforms into a magical wonderland in winter. In this video, I share places that you can visit in the Old Town if you visit for less than 8 hours. This video is jam-packed with activities (expect a lot of climbing) and some super yummy spots (to get all these calories back, of course). Also, I'll be sharing a little more context about each place and some practical tips so that you have fun whilst exploring this wonderful city in winter.

By God I was feeling so so bad since 3-4 days and your video just removed it and I'm feeling super Cool again ❤🤗🎉 really Love You My Friend 🫂 I'll meet you once I'm in Estonia ❤
Lovely!!❤
Hi , I regularly watch your videos about Tallin, I was in Tallin's old city today (11th March ) while it was snowing alot, it's really awesome to Rome around the streets of Old City while snowing 👍 and if you have shot this video today itself then unfortunately I missed the chance of becoming part of your video While exploring the Old City 🙂.
Hey, we are shooting more videos in Tallinn so there is always a chance to become a part of our videos ;)
Beautiful city! Great video! L77. New subscriber here!
I went a few weeks ago and loved it, i definitely want to go back
I went in that cafe at the start
Great video. It's a season I really want to see in Tallinn. What boots do you wear in the snow?
Thanks Andrea. For this winter season I'm wearing Blundstone chelsea boots with 2 pairs of hiking wool socks (my personal preference) and it works fine. I would also check out your local shops for a proper pair of winter boots which are waterproof and highly insulated.
Hi Polly,
I have 1 quick question.
I love your videos on Tallinn, you mention booking The Tallinn Card which i have now done (i come with my best mate in late May for a week).
My question is:
Is The ICOM International Museums Card widely accepted at major Museums, Art Galleries and Attractions in Tallinn or would u stick primarily to The Tallinn Card?
Secondly do you run private walking history tours of Tallinn yourself if so i would be very interested.
Hi I am not 100% certain in regards to the ICOM card, but since you already purchased The Tallinn Card you will have access to pretty much every major museum in Tallinn (one of my favourite perks of the card).
I regards to tours, I do not do any history tours myself but I can recommend for you to check out "Tales of Reval" (Medieval Tours Around the Old Town) and Estadventures (they have a variety of tours available), I just had a wonderful chat with Marko, who is one of their guides.
@@VisitTallinn thank you for your reply. I work at The British Museum in Central London in Visitor Services Department patrolling the galleries.
I am a museums and galleries geek and nerd. I am really excited to visit Paterai Prison and Seaharbour Museum, The Maritime Museum and as much on the Tallinn Card as we can. We are spending a week in Tallinn and really looking forward to it.
I notice none of the Visit Tallinn videos cover the the best beers/bars, specialist craft beer bottle shops, microbreweries, taphouses, breweries, brewery tours, for example at Pojhala which i have booked to do an english tour of.
I know for english guys coming to tallinn craft beer and brewery scene is a big draw and might be worth doing a feature video on.
Thanks again Polly.
P.s. your visit tallinn videos are wicked and i love watching them please keep making them as i have made so many notes about cafes, restaurants things to do and see from your videos.
Beautiful ❤❤. May I ask, is a permit required for Drone use?
Depends on the area you are flying the drone. You can read all the rules from here: www.transpordiamet.ee/en/news/drone-flying-rules-become-simpler
What’s the name of the souvenir shop?
I think you mean this shop: hoov.ee/en/wood-and-felt-design-shop/
Hi. Does it snow on days leading up to Christmas in Tallinn? I would love to experience a White Christmas for once in my life. How are the Christmas markets ?
Well it really does depend. Last winters we were fortunate to have a lot of snow in December and it was awesome! You can check out our “Christmas Market” video to see how Tallinn looks in the snow during the Christmas period.
@@VisitTallinn Wow the market is small but beautiful and cosy and SO MUCH SNOW! Exactly what I crave for ! I'll keep an eye on the weather in Tallinn this December. Hopefully it snow! Thank you
Ive been four times over Christmas and New year and on three occasions we were blessed with snow.
Amazing place!
Its a shame the 3 sisters is closed
