@@Flippingdrawers If U have same issue again, try applying the stripper (generous layer over the surface) then cover tightly with cellophane/plastic kitchen wrap. Let sit one hour and test. Covering the stripper allows it to bake thru thick veneer and saves loads of sanding on old pieces. Hope this helps ;) cheers !

Hey friend. Tip for you I learned from an old-time furniture restorer: When stripping furniture, after you apply stripped, put wax paper over the stripper. This forces the stripper into the wood, and fumes will be less evaporated. You will save time, effort, and product. This tip is worth GOLD. Good luck. Nice Video. Great outcome.

I am just speechless Jay and as my husband says, that’s rare! 😂 You always produce amazing pieces. This was a sad looking piece of furniture turned beautiful. (By the way, thanks for letting us know that was “water” and not something else.” ) 🙈 I love your sense of humor! 👏🌹 P.S. Where do you sell your pieces?

I love how the wood slats set the drawers and sides in a slightly different shade. It makes it pop. Very nice

My mother had one like this in early 1970s. I love the restyling and updating without compromising all it's curves. It is my new favourite 😍

Oh my Jay, you’re so clever! Who would have thought to use Venetian blinds like that? You truly are a craftsman. I love the art decor style of this dresser so much ❤

Isn’t it amazing what some people can see in their minds eye of an old dresser.
The old saying of someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure, really rings true here.
It was inspiring to watch you work, your attention to detail 👍 Finished article a unique piece. Thank you for posting, greetings from 🇦🇺
