    Supply is dwindling because you're shutting down the power plants. It costs more to deliver the energy to you and since there's less of it you're going to pay more. Average temp for June was 76 and in July about 82 so that air conditioning was probably working overtime.

    Whom. If you had an old analog mechanical meter, chances are the bearings that allow the disc to spin around freely have worn out, thus causing meter to turn more slowly yhan usual, so you may be only measuring half of the power you are using thus giving you a cheaper than usual bill. When my coop switched to the digital smart meters here back in 2018, they explained this in their monthly magazine. My bill wrnt up only $ 10, but i expected this.
