This video deserves awards. I had goosebumps by the end of it. If more people watched it the industry would not be understaffed. Beautiful footage, wonderful interviews, optimal music

Those who say horse racing is cruel, don’t have a clue just how much care these animals get.. it’s not cheap,,either… if racing was banned completely, you’d have thousands of them running around in the countryside, whose going to feed them, tend to any injuries they get??? People are so ignorant

Well of course they get the top notch care! These horses 🐎 have cost hundreds and thousands of dollars sometimes millions. But what happens when these young thoroughbreds don’t end up being racehorses and making the money back for the owners I think that’s what they mean when they say they are treated cruel? Here in the USA 🇺🇸 between the racehorses and Big Lick sport these babies end up either at the kill pens, auctions, or hopefully at the rescue horse shelters. If the horse is lucky enough to have been saved by the shelter, they need to been vet cared for immediately mostly because the original owners have made sure they could get every single last penny out of them by running them into the ground sorta speak. ❤️‍🩹🐎💔 The Big Lick competition is even way worse! Those poor beautiful horses usually don’t even make it home to the shelter because the ride there was to much are their young abused bodies.🥺😢

I would like to say that I truly enjoyed your video it’s so nice to see how well your horses are cared for. 🫶🏼🥰 I just pray the same thing doesn’t happen to these beautiful animals after they end up not making money for you? Like what ends up happening to the race horses here in the USA 🇺🇸 to them? Unfortunately we find so many young gorgeous thoroughbred once racehorse end up at the kill pens auction houses. 🥺😤😢😣🐎💔❤️‍🩹. So I have a question for you guys, I’m sure you have an idea of what I’m asking lol but please answer as honestly as possible. When these very expensive horses end up being financially, a loss for you what then happens to the horse?!

The horses are re homed, the best that can be done for them, most are usefull in a new career, some broodmares etc. They wont be sent to a slaughterhouse. There is only one such in the UK. Most would be put down by vet at home at end of life.

People who buy racehourses dont expect to make a profit. Very few even cover costs if they win three ordinary races in a year. Most wont win very often, or never.

The auction sales for TBs have a minimum bid. Which is several thousands
