Hello, today was the first time my husband and I saw your videos, and we loved them, loved when you were cooking the steak and you said, surrounded by cows 😀
Robert you are the BEST!!! We are so glad we found you!
I would suggest next time Driving through the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming you will not be disappointed
I visited this part of the country when I was a kid, but we travelled with grandparents who never wanted to stop and see things, so our stops were always brief, and we never did much. It would be great to go back and revisit this area, Devil’s Tower, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Keystone, Wall Drug and The Badlands. Just a beautiful part of the country to be sure.
and Custer state park...
As a european, that semi truck with the fifth wheel camper, at the end of the video, something like that is a little dream of me for discovering the USA and Canada
Beautiful sunset.!
Robert, you hit it out of the park with this episode. All your tools as a videographer are evident here. A totally mesmerizing landscape, even though it's been documented before, you've managed to capture an astounding environment as only one with your skills could capture. Thank you so much for sharing this immensely enjoyable travelog. By the way, I wish you good speed on the way to your recovery (broken foot).
Stayed at the Rapid City KOA back in summer of 1977 with my parents. Will finally get back in that area again soon. A beautiful part of our continent. thanks for sharing and safe travels....
Thank you Robert for putting out the South Dakota trip.
Thanks for making this video Robert, we are planning to go on the exact same trip this May! Afterwards, we travel on to Yellowstone to stay at Fishing Bridge. I hope it's not too cold ❄ ❄.
One of my favorite areas to camp. Camping at the wall was amazing with the approaching storm and rainbow. Nature is awesome and you present it so well.
This is so mesmerizing to watch! Such beautiful views and a very nice bunny-how cute! Robert, just when I think you can’t top your previous videos from The West, you go and post this magnificent example of why I watch every week! Love it all! Safe travels!
3:49 That's some great storm footage that even experienced storm chasers would love to have. Nice capture!
Thank you Robert for sharing your video of South Dakota. My husband and I were both born and raised in South Dakota. My husband was in the service so we moved around the country. Your video made me all teary-eyed. I just loved it, and it brought back many memories of my youth.
I have never been to this area of S.D. thanks for letting us tag along on this breathtaking epic journey! Such a beautiful and spartan area of our land !
Love the Black Hills, Badlands and Devil's Tower. This part of the country is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Seeing Close Encounters at the Devil's Tower KOA is a pretty neat experience. I'm thinking maybe they could show North By Northwest on the big screen at Mount Rushmore. 🙂
We love going to the Black Hills. I think you could spend months here and not see it all. You always have to be careful at the Bandlands dispersed camping. I have seen big rigs get stuck in the mud when it rains hard and the winds can blow 70 to 80 MPH during storms. You did a fabulous job shooting this segment. Thanks Robert.
Gorgeous! Thank you for taking us along.
The views and landscape of SD are just breathtaking, Badlands was the first National Park I visited as I began my nomadic journey, and I will never forget those painted hills. Visiting the Lakota, the park and Deadwood only added to my excitement. The snow wasn't so bad, but was cold. Nice shots for folk to see.
Estuve en ese lugar para el verano 2017 y en verdad tiene una belleza inpresionante. El clima en verano es variante y tambien pasamos por una tormenta de vientos y lluvia. Pero me encanto y volveria si pudiera. Elba Axevedo, Puerto Rico(USA). Excelente trabajo Robert.
This is an amazing trip! Wonderful footage!
One of my favorite parts of the country. Wish I didn't have to travel the upper mid west to get there or I spend more time there. At Devils Tower we stay at the federal campground with basically the same view but for $10.00 a night. Dry camping though. Looking for wood to your next video for the memories of our trips. Thank you.
Robert, your videos play on a loop at my house almost 24 hours a day. I like to believe you keep my dog entertained when I am at work. We're taking a trip to South Dakota in 2 months, and I am waiting (im)patiently for your next video on this series!
We did the exact campgrounds 2 years ago
Devils tower and the wall are so majestic. Thank you for sharing Robert Ohh and you got a haircut 💇♂️ at the end 💈
Yep sometimes you have to get them on the road.... come to think of it i really need one.
@@TravelingRobert well whenever you in south Fla come check out 💈
Or perhaps 🤔 maybe one day we will run into a campground and I can give you a haircut 💈
Robert thanks for the video. Can’t wait to get out there thanks .
We are planning a trip to this area in September. Thank you for sharing this because it is beyond informative Robert!
Ahh, South Dakota! I spent the first 30 years of my life in South Dakota, I was waiting for this! Well done and thanks for sharing, as always. I hope you enjoyed your time in one of the final frontiers!
Feliz Cumpleaños Amigo!...and like always, your videos are so relaxing and entertaining. Javi G.
Robert, Beautiful part of the country, the drone footage is epic.
Can't wait till next episode!! This is definitely a trip I been wanting to take. The views are so beautiful up that way. Plus away from all the big city's and the crime that seems to be so crazy nowadays. Thank you Robert and your wife for taking us along
Nice video. It makes me nostalgic. My wife and I were visiting that same area about the same time last year. We caught Devils Tower on our way west to Montana in late June, and the Black Hills on the way east in early July.
I just love your videos. You always keep me watching.
Love all of your vedio. The music was perfect, and it blended into the scenery. ❤
Thank You incredible video, amazing camera work, editing & music no one does it better! All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Awesome video Robert! Only one comment: Those transitions look and sound incredible! A few Content Creators reading this may understand.
Hi Robert, thank U for sharing, "à bientôt"
We did a road trip to that area summer of 2020. It was a great place to visit during Covid (before the big Sturgis event) and there were very few people around. Probably one of the most relaxing stress free trips we have done
That is a beautiful part of our country! Thanks for sharing
I haven't been in that area since I was a teenager. Great ti see all of the changes and things that haven't changed that much. Looking forward to the next episode since Crazy Horse wasn't finished and was closed when we drove by it. We didn't go to wind caves either, but we did go to Jewel Caves, which is a very special places because I had a huge crush on a park ranger there 🤣 😂 Hope you are recovering well. Take care.
Thanks a bunch realy enjoy your videos.
Great video, as always! We took the same trip on I90 from WA to VT last year. Was the best trip in decades. We stopped off to MT Rushmore and all other stops along the way. I would've loved to meet ya! Been watching your videos for years.
Editing and the adventures are excellent craftsmanship.
Happy Birthday!
Another fantastic trip
Thank you
Love those hills. What an incredible State. ❤
Great Video, very nice places there in the USA, Devils Tower, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands so amazing Places.

Awesome production Mr. Robert. Do you still own the Colorado; it was such an awesome truck. Thank you for another amazing video.

Oh Roberto, me llevaste a la infancia “el payaso Ferdinando” jajajajajjajajajaja bendiciones! Thank you for producing these amazing videos!
Thank you Robert. 😘
We have enjoyed our visits in this area, and we get to visit again this year on our road trip to the Great Lakes area!
I love this one!
Thanks!
Best song ever!
We were out in the hills in 2019 and your video makes me want to get back there soon to see all of the great views again. I could watch the POV view of you driving all day. Thanks for such a wonderful video.
Did I mention the views?
Love your videos. We didn't get to some of these areas on our trip. Nice to see. Looks like you were one of the first to see one of the Chinese spy balloons.
Love your channel great
feel the same fondingroberthasbeen inspiring me to get on the road
I met you at the boondocking area there. Seems like you really enjoy the western part of South Dakota. Could be a good spot for another version of Pelicamp, and you'd be within a day's drive to so many interesting places.
I was working at the Mount Rushmore KOA while you were there. Unfortunately, during your stay, I was quarantined with Covid - there was a breakout of Covid amongst the workampers. Since I’m a longtime follower of yours, I’m so sad that I missed you! And yes - connectivity is really bad there - the number one complaint I received at my registration desk!
it was a giant bear that shaped the Devil Tower!
agree with KOA camping. I just got back from tenting 35-60 is about the cheapest 'out the door' you can do at KOA. thats for tenting. and nyup, they have a good app
. I did the Badlands at worse time of the year triple digits heat ( but a dry heat LOL). I know better for next time
O my brother Robert it's with tires of APPRECIATION deep APPRECIATION FOR ALL YOUR LOVE FOR HUMANITY THAT INSPIRES YOU TO MAKE THESE WONDERFUL VIEDOS, SO I THANK YOU SOOOOOO VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK WHEN I "NEED"TO GET AWAY AND CANT I watch you most beautiful and well designed integrating and relaxing viedos thank you soooooo very much my dear brother 🙏👍💞🤗
Awesome video! However, at the Heads, Mount Rushmore is in SOUTH Dakota 🤭
Great
the clouds added to it. some of those spots in the badlands looked a lil sketchy.
and amazing.
Pretty kool...
Excellent video, but was that a spy balloon you caught?! Lol that would be a story wouldn’t it.
I've been here once need to get back
Contemplating. I notice the landscape from when the movie was made up until you showed it, some 40 years later, not much has changed around Devils tower. Nothing built. Good. Thanks for your video!
Thank you for doing all these videos! I did want to ask a weird question…at one moment in this video you recorded what looks like a balloon…was it a kids balloon? Could it have been a weather balloon? Or maybe it was the moon… lol I am not sure. Again…thank you for the videos!
Love that area and thank you for such a great video Robert. "Good Ole SD"
Rest in peace weather balloon.
I hope they through in some popcorn and a drinks with the movie for that pricey camp site.
Sunday, July 3, 2022…the day we left to do the inverse of Robert. Wyoming to Florida and back in a grand loop.
Robert! ... I can't believe you saw a "Weather Ball" in the sky .... last Summer ..... That's not good. LOLOL, now that we knew what they were!
Your video's are great ! Thanks for making them. I hope the Chevy Colorado is serving you well! Stay well!
Was that the chinese spy balloon at 16:57... LOL
Truly the best channel (of any description) on YT. Completely addicted to your videos Robert, some of which I must have watched 5-6 times...! Keep up the amazing work, really perfection.
Hi Robert! Well done on your video footage of the Badlands! You captured all of the beauty they have to offer!
I watched this vlog on my TV in the family room. I am so glad I did. It is beautiful there. Your photography was great. This is on my bucket list. Thanks Robert.
Now I'm even more eager to go! Great video as always!
That KOA is pricey but you cannot beat the view for sure. Have stayed there before and loved it.
I felt like I was there. Thank you so much, and I very much feel as you do that it is a privilege to be able to travel freely and see our beautiful nation.
Love the view of the tower at your KOA site.
Me acabo de percatar de los subtítulos en español. Gracias Robert. 👍🏽👍🏽 💯 💯🇨🇷🇨🇷
Love seeing Mount Rushmore again in update fashion. Saw it when a child back in the 1960’s. Big change!! You’re covering an area I want to explore. Thank you Robert!!! I get a kick out of watching the videos.
Great just getting up for work. And this come out, breakfast with the best of. Perfect timing. Thanks
EXCELLENT THANKS ROBERT...
You must visit the Wedge Overlook/Little Grand Canyon in Central Utah. Free BLM camping and the views blow away those of the Badlands.
The Devil's Tower view for $97 a night is well worth it 👌...that's the perfect way to visit...the steak with fries 🍟 😋 looked fantastic! Watching 👀 the movie at the site priceless!
What movie 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you for sharing those amazing sunsets and rainbows, Robert.
Your words made a difference in my life during the loss of my wife of 63 years. We were very much like you two, we did everything together. If not for my faith and hope in the good Lord no way I could make it. Mike and Karen keep up the good work. God bless
Devils Tower is one of my favorite spots--it's cool to revisit it with you. One time I had a campsite with a view at the KOA and got treated to a lightning storm at night that lit up the Tower--like something from a movie. "I don't know why Google keeps taking us on these dirt roads..." Boy, I hear you on that. Google has taken me on some pretty weird routes--I draw the line when it tries to take me down farm roads out in the middle of nowhere.
Enjoy so much. Thank s 🤠💦💨
Thanks, Robert for the video it brings me grate memories.
Oh wow awesome!!! Can’t wait to wake up to this!
Love your binge-worthy travel vids, Robert. Thank you & Goooooood morning!! 🤗🍻 🏕
