Ist es diesmal leichter bzw wie gewünscht? :)
Find man kann sich ruhig von deinem erfindungsreichtum, kreativität, motivation, ausdauer und noch von vielem mehr ne scheibe abschneiden bist für mich aufjedenfall ein vorbild :)
Habe die Board Specs nun in der Infobox ergänzt. Es ist leichter als ne Holzplanke, aber kein extremer Leichtbau. Mein Hauptziel war ein leicht durchmischtes Board mit der geilen Grafik und der neuen Technik. Dadurch musste recht viel Glas verbaut werden. Wenns leicht sein sollte, hätte ich Carbon benutzen müssen. Das nächste Board wird ein extremer Leichtbau.
sidekickx81 Achso, ich fragte, da ja das letzte board mit dem Wabenkern nicht so leicht wurde wie erwünscht ^^ aber dann kann man sich ja schonmal auf das nächte longboard video freuen :D

It´s durable while riding "normaly". Once i had a crash and it bumped hard against the curbstone, it was damaged a little bit, but repairable...

KönigDrosselbart ja alles sehr schade. Aber in Deutschland will kein Schw**z mehr Longboard Videos sehen. Guck dir doch dieses Video an, die Klicks... es ist das geilste und professionellste was ich je gebaut habe, auf YT habe ich noch NICHTS besseres gesehen. Und dann grade mal läppische 4000views in 1,5 Monaten. Videos in denen ich mit meiner Crew rumrolle will echt niemand mehr sehn 😕
sidekickx81 da hast du leider recht obwohl ich das absolut net nachvollziehen kann. Durch dich habe ich es geschafft mein erstes Brett zu bauen und habe jedesmal sehnsüchtig auf weitere Videos von dir gewartet . Leider gingen auch unverständlicherweise die Abozahlen herunter obwohl es nichts vergleichbares im deutschsprachigen und selbst englischsprachigen Raum gibt. Wir saßen sogar oft mit mehreren Leuten vorm Bildschirm und haben deine Videos mehrfachst angeschaut . Leider bekommt man auf YT nur noch Klicks wenn man Material produziert welches RTL und der Bild noch Konkurrenz macht. Lass dich davon aber bitte nicht entmutigen . Du bist für viele von uns eine Inspiration und es sind verdammt geniale Bretter die du baust. Auch wenn es nicht viele Klicks bringen wird so gibt es doch bestimmt einige die sich auf neue Videos von dir freuen, seien es Bauanleitungen von Brettern/Pfannenwendern/Geldbörsen etc. ,Übermittlung von Fachwissen , Bauprojekte mit Jugendlichen, oder einfach nur Videos in denen du mit deinen Leuten unterwegs bist. Solange du Spaß daran hast und es dir möglich ist mach bitte weiter auch wenns nur für eine kleine aber treue Fangemeinde ist :) so und jetzt gehts zum Motorinstandsetzungsvideo :D

Um Kohle geht’s mir ja gar nicht. Schalte ja keine Werbung, verdiene kein Cent. Hab nur ab und zu Sponsoren, die mir Material stellen, damit ich das überhaupt machen kann.
Ich mache weiter das ist klar, nur kann ich keine Videos im Wochentakt mehr raus bringen. Aber es wird immer mal wieder was feines geben 🤗
sidekickx81 Da freu ich mich schon drauf :) Gut das der Winter vor der Tür steht, hab noch nen großen Karton von HP Textiles (ein Kunde mehr Dank dir) hier stehen der mal leer werden muss XD lässt sich der Druck auf PVC gut verarbeiten? Hatte mir schon nen Anbieter gesucht der auf Glasfaservlies druckt. Hast du damit schon Erfahrung und wenn ja was würdest du empfehlen ?
KönigDrosselbart das Vlies aus dem Video war super. Ich wüsste nicht wie es besser gehen sollte, ich kann das echt nur empfehlen.

Clearly no, espacily this one with the honeycomb core. You need a lot of equipment, vacuumpump, vacuumbags, epoxy, glasfibre and so on. A simple one out of plywood could be cheaper. Building longboards is fun and it is your unique masterpiece, that are the main benefits.

deine Tutorials sind wirklich hilfriech und detailiert! Habe mir jetzt ein Longboard selbstgebaut, hat das Laminieren überstanden, jedoch fehlt die Grafik drauf. Und genau die Grafik sollte mein nächster Angriff sein, jedoch bin ich mir unsicher und habe einige Fragen!:
Ich möchte es erstmal schwarz sprayen, danach die Grafik, die ich ausdrucken möchte, mit den Harzen laminieren. Harz>Grafik>Harz>Folie zur Entfernung der Luftblasen>mehrere Schichten Bootslack.
Ist diese Reihenfolge richtig?
Sollte ich beim Sprayen auf was spezielles achten? (Den Rand des Decks sollte schwarz sein.)
Zur Grafik, könnte man sich auch auf andere Papierarten verlassen außer das normale Papier?
Damit es optisch schöner aussieht, muss man durch DinA4 Blätter selber drucken oder wäre es sinnvoller, bei der Druckerei die passende Größe der Grafik drucken zu lassen? Es ist nämlich eine Grafik vom PC, welches ich aufs Board klatschen möchte.
Hoffe es ist nicht zu viel verlangt, freue mich aber auf jeden fall auf eine Antwort.

Hi Kai,du willst also das Papier einlaminieren, so wie ich es z.B. mit Comics gemacht habe? Da sehe ich spontan ein kleines Problemchen ;) Und zwar dein Vorhaben das Board schwarz zu lackieren. Das Papier wird beim laminieren etwas durchsichtig werden und durch den schwarzen Hintergrund wird dein Bild total absaufen/kaum erkennbar sein. Denk auch dran, ein Drucker kann nicht weiß drucken. Überall wo weiß ist, ist einfach keine Farbe, also nur normales Papier. Und dieser Bereich wird bei einem schwarzen Hintergrund auch nicht weiß bleiben...Beste Grüße, dein Dr.S

Also kann man es so festhalten: z.B. Weißer Hintergrund = helle grafik, schwarzer Hintergrund = dunkle Grafik? :)
Stell dir vor du hast ein Sticker bei dem das Motiv schwarz ist und der Hintergrund transparent. Den klebst du nun auf eine schwarze Oberfläche. Was siehst du dann...?
Da sieht man doch nur den Sticker? Also man erkennt den Sticker nicht wirklich..
Genau, man sieht nichts. Das gleiche wird dir bei einem schwarzen Board und deiner Grafikmethode passieren. Weil das Papier etwas transparent wird und die gedruckten Fraben sehr blass sein werden...

I am trying to get the materials but am having no luck, were can you get nomid core inside canada, as well as tri fiberglass cloth
Tri fiberglass should not be problem. Nomex honeycomb could be difficult. Have you look up ebay?
sidekickx81 ya i have checked ebay, i think i might just fiberglass a 7 ply maple board, and be sone with it. Still i woukd defenitly do this in the future. You did a great job and the board looks sweet
I lost count the amour of the times I have watched this video, I don't have a skill or the materials yet. But maybe some day I will be making on like this. For the time being I will stick to maple laminated boards. Question do you ever sell the boards you make?

Es sollte nicht zu steif sein. Ich möchte Holzfurniere und Glasfasern verwenden. Danke! Ich warte immer noch darauf, dass deine Grundlagen für die Glasfaserkonstruktion übersetzt werden, aber all deine Videos sind mir bisher sehr hilfreich!

I weight about 85 kilos (187 pounds), 1,78m tall, and planning on loosing some of that weight. Which variables will affect the long of the wheelbase? How do I calculate the ideal wheelbase based on weight and height, or in this case, the ideal wheelbase for me? Thanks!

That board looks sick! but you really don't want flex in a downhill board. Makes the board less responsive.

I'm planning to make nomex/carbon's copy of my so Madrid (wich is perfect for my feet but really too much heavy ^^).
I've search on alibaba and found (but the seller/factory haven't answer me since 4 days...).

Wow, schwer zu sagen. Ich arbeite in einem Unternehmen welches die Wabe herstellt. Das ist halt "Luftfahrt-Wabe" und auf dem freien Markt nur schwer und wenn überhaupt nur teuer zu bekommen. Ich habe ca. 200€ an Material investiert, wobei die Wabe quasi geschenkt war...

i can understand how awesome it is to ride a board made by yourself. Great work.
But why not developing a concept of a board made of wood ? much easier to do and not so much toxic waste.........
Composite boards last longer than any wood board, plus are stronger and more durable. You can get water on it and it won’t decay, unlike wood. You can also bend this one far more than a wood one, which is good in case it gets thrown around a lot.

Ich wollte ein Board mit folgendem Aufbau bauen:
Biax 320g
2 × 0,6 mm funier längs
5mm Nomexwabe
2× 0,6 mm funier längs
1× triaxial 750g
1× ud 420 g

Nein, ich denke nicht. Außer du wiegst nur 35kg oder so ;) Du hast nur eine Gesamtkerndicke 7,4mm, das ist fast nichts! das wird mit einer Lage UD und Triax nie halten!
Mhh okay danke für die Antwort dann muss wohl eine stärke Wabe nehmen so um die 1 cm :)
Wäre sehr cool wenn du mal ein Board aus 3D|Core bauen würdest ;)

S1gg09 3D Core hab ich schon hier liegen 😉 Die Motivation packt mich aber noch nicht, denn außer das Material mal zu verwenden, seh ich kein Vorteil. Man muss Harzinfusion anwenden. Teuer und aufwändig...
@sidekickx81 also laut der offiziellen Seite von 3D|Core und an anderen Anbietern muss man nicht unbedingt mit Infusionsharz arbeiten , per Hand laminieren soll an sich auch sehr gut funktionieren ;)
