Thanks for your compassion❤ It really shows in how you get the interviewees to open up. Anxiety is the reason I got strung out too. I wish she knew there is legit help out there....if you take a really small dose of benzos (legally, as prescribed by your doctor) it shouldn't be making you act crazy! But she's probably only ever used benzos in excess so doesn't know that there's a better way to do it, under a doctor's supervision. I've heard some people say that antidepressants helped with their anxiety too, it didn't work for me unfortunately.
I'm glad I never got sores from snorting the tranq/fent dope, it did fuck my nose up though! I didn't even know that was possible from smoking it tbh
Admittedly I am looking at this from the outside (having not ever been an addict I feel I need to always say that), but having watched all of these videos over so many months now the people that are the closest to real recovery are the ones that say “I am a fuck up” or “it’s all on me.”. The ones that are not close are the ones that always have an excuse or point elsewhere, whether it’s “I don’t want to deal with the withdrawal” , “it was my boyfriend/girlfriend who did it to me” etc. etc. just my take.
My favorite is “I can’t get into any type of recovery because I have warrants.” I was a criminal defense attorney for 20 years (when the law treated drugs as a huge big deal and no one would dare boot up in the public in front of kids). I talk to my friends who are still doing criminal work and if you really want to get help the cases go away
Agreed. I think the excuses in some cases pretty much mean. I’m not ready or just don’t want to get clean. Running around going through hell and high water to get high but you can’t keep that same energy to do whatever it takes to get sober. Plus most of these addicts have children and their not willing to do 10% of what their willing to do to get high to go and get their kids back in their life. At some point watching these videos make you wonder…when is enough enough. Blaming this or that is just an excuse at the end of the day.
@@letabih9433 this has been my point. When it comes to the kids I don’t get it. Especially for the moms. That may sound chauvinistic but that maternal instinct is so strong. I could not live knowing I abandoned my kids for a fix. Id eat the cold steel hotdog before long
@@BriarEsquire Exactly. The fact that so many women- and men - but in particular women - because we give birth- are more invested in getting high than being in their children’s life is unfathomable. I mean they are homeless, prostituting- at risk for deadly diseases- abused psychologically, mentally, raped in many cases, beaten, you name it they’re going through it all to get high- meanwhile your children are in situations they didn’t have anything to do with- and God only knows what they go through- and this is all for you to get high- all these consequences* that are devastating so many lives. It’s a cycle from the pits of hell.

Jeff if your parents are proud of you now after 7 years and building a growing channel with 22k subs, then maybe they are / were part of the whole reason you became an addict to begin with.

People instead of spending money on your children that have everything, give to these poor homeless kids..maybe pay for a apartment for her , buy her food and cloths, these are the people who really need help not your children..
Sounds great in theory... and I've seen ppl give addicts stuff/ rooms/ phone's/etc etc etc and the very next day they have nothing. Giving her a tent is a waste of a tent...🤷 Do what you want.

Trust me...I get it. I have a daughter battling addiction...on the streets ( actually today in rehab 🙏) and I know that when an addict is talking.... they're lying... period.
Every word is a for the hustle... it's they're ONLY reason for giving you the time of day. They're time is only worth $$$...and that's why you pay them.
