Hi Megan I really hope you do get out of there sweetheart if you really want it you’ll do it and you’ll find another way on your own ! You just have to want it enough and I think it’s not a choice honey you got yourself in deep it’s going to take hard work and sacrifice on your part to get well ! Only you can help you and you need a recovery house or if someone could rent you a room I wish I had the space, I am a mom who has two adult children and my granddaughter living with me , but I wish you luck and I will keep you in my heart ❤thoughts and prayers. Megan you are beautiful and you deserve a much better life and I so wish you make it happen only you can do this Megan not anyone but you honey . People will send you clothes donations and you’ll be fine the heck with it just go and people will help you out ! I promise you if you go everyone will help ! Go baby girl! I lost my one son Joe and he’d be 39 as of June 11 his bday , get better please I love and care about you ! Thank you Jeff I know this was before you went to Puerto Rico and I am just seeing it now ! Let us know how Megan is doing! I love you my friend ❤❤❤

Jeff I’m disappointed in you for always trashing AA and NA. You are doing a great disservice for ppl. It doesn’t work for everyone but it does work-if you do the work. 12 step programs are NOT religious. If you really paid attention, you would know this.
That program causes a lot of damage today. Preaching complete abstinence when fentanyl is deadly at it is. I understand it works for some people but for the vast majority it doesn’t worry at all. I think addition would be so further along if our only revelation program was based on Jesus with no real solutions involved with it.
I go to Aa and never drank, I’m on sublicade but I CHOOSE not to tell anyone about being on that. I have a ton of respect in my community. Now I only go to 2-3 meetings a week. But I had a lot of years of relapsing to realize this was about saving my own life. I needed Mat, I need the recovery community and friendships. I moved 4 hours from Kensington and didn’t know anyone. I also went to a long term all women’s treatment and lived in an Oxford house for a year. I think recovery has to be multi faceted. Treating every aspect of one’s life. Aa didn’t get me clean or keep me clean. But yesterday I celebrated 4 years. But I remember being VERY closed minded and naive about how much help I really needed and I was so anti Aa/na bc the God thing. But today I have realized that it is a spiritual program but the God thing unfortunately does scare some people away.
I don't believe there is a wrong way to get sober. You do what works. I've been to NA/AA. I completely "get" why it works! Yay! Love them both. The reason it didn't work for me ... I honestly don't know. Maybe I didn't give it time.. I've actually found some terrific podcasts and lots on utube! I feel completely comfortable and interact. So, that's been a big help for me...

There are quite a bit of typos in Jeffs post so it’s a bit hard to understand his view. However there are non religious based as/na meetings etc. it works for some but not for all.

Burns are very quick to become infected, that’s why when you go to the ER they put you right through to the back because burns are super dangerous if infection sets in.

There always seems to 9:51 be some excuse. Always something. If it's easy, it's not going to work. Even a recov 15:18 ery house IS a recovery house. 15:32 AA doesn't work for everyone, but it could be a step. It's not supposed to be easy ALSO, I think that if you just got high from the cash you just got from Jeff, your thoughts are not clear. You are high, so everything seems possible ,.. Beggers can't be choosey.. PLEASE JUST GO !
