Good video, thanks for making one that addresses the whole 'Matching Appliance' issue people have. 1) buy all matching if it makes sense for your house and paycheck. The last thing you want are $35-40k invested in just the kitchen appliances living in a home that is not matching that level of luxury and would make your house the 'fancy rich house' on the street. 2) Definitely read those reviews for all the information on service issues, warranty claims denied, class action suits, and more.
I have learned a lot from you and would definitely not have learned about 'make up air' if it was not for your videos. No wonder our ugly microwave+vent over the range sucks balls. I swear the OG Whirlpool one that came with the house had a stronger motor and pulled out the smoke, while the new one installed 6 years back or so cracked from the heat of the burners in the first six months and just doesnt work as good, if at all.

Great information. Could you please do a video on the inflation reduction act appliance tax rebates for heat pumps, induction, etc. How much and how to get.

The guy on the left, Fran, is more friendly with better, more fluid social skills.
The fellow on the right, Steve, not as much, but he has made an effort here to interact better with his cohost than in prior videos.
The guy on the right has a pleasing voice and speaking style, paired with being knowledgeable, giving him gravitas.
As a team they give great tips for appliance consumers.

Very helpful video. Interestingly Beko isn't mentioned. Yale used to highlight and be a fan of Beko. Why's changed with Yale's view of Beko?

I think Beko is a solid brand. They were great during the pandemic when they were one of the only options. However, they have new management and less of a focus on the US or so it seems

If I heard you correctly… Thermador does have a Gift with Purchase program. One example is if you buy a cooktop and a wall oven they will throw in a dishwasher. So this is kind of like a package deal. I’m shopping now and packages haven’t really drawn my attention because I’m trying to buy best of breed in each category.

That is true, and some other brands have similar programs. However, be careful what “free gift” you are getting. For example, Thermador is part of the Bosch group and the d/w they give you is sort of a low end Bosch with a Thermador name on it. On the other hand, Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) is the luxury brand of LG and their free gift is higher end LG product. I guess the point is that free is only valuable if it is a desirable product.

Are there promotions on brands like thermador, SKS during Black Friday?

Thermador has the same promotion for the last 10 years.

Gee, how the hell did my grandmother's bake all those pies and cookies I loved as a kid, without having a $10,000 refrigerator, a $10,000 range, a $5000 dishwasher, a $1000 blender...etc. If only they were still alive so I could ask them. Of course I would have to also ask my late parents just how on earth they were able to DRIVE from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles in 1952 without GPS, Sirius, air conditioning, and no credit cards!!! 🤔😳 People are spoiled, selfish, ignorant, and sucking up oxygen that they shouldn't be. If Proctor and Gamble made $2000 per roll Charmin, im sure that these same people would be in que for it. 😧
