- Love this monitor light bar! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add some light to their work space 💡
It has 3 light modes (2800K, 4000K, 5500K), adjustable brightness, and an overall awesome build quality 🙌🏼
Thank you Baseus for sending this my way!

I get a bulb for 1.5$
Also lights up whole room😲
Not the same ✨aesthetic✨
I get a regular lamp it does the same
@@driggsy nobody should spend 50 bucks for pointless *aesthetics*
@@v037_ trust me, people spend a lot more
This serves a very practical use case, clears up space on your desk, and provides light for your workspace. But to each their own :)
Have a great weekend
@@v037_ because you said so?
50 quid for like 2% more light. Game changer.
I dont like having my ceiling light on while i work. And its behind me so i end up casting a shadow onto my desk. The light bar solves this problem. The light bar has sharp light cut offs so the light doesnt reflect on your screen and doesnt shine towards your face, so it only light up to the edge on your desk. I also spend 10 hours a day at my desk. The light bar actually relieves eye strain too.
Thinkpad ThinkLight :look what they need to mimic a fraction of my power
Yo i remember it, sick thing wish it lasted
It's too bad that's something Lenovo only made for their laptops, not monitors, which is the subject of this video.
i got one as well it's totally game changer. at first i thought it's just aesthetics but when i used it for a week yea, i can confirm it's only for anesthetics
@@SS77S7 that sounds a bit suspicious
@@SS77S7 lmao
I smell some good olde bull 😂
?
I got mine last year and there totally amazing guys u all need to get one. For real guys. Go get one trust me u will never go back to a standard lamp again
Wouldn't this add extra glare on your screen? How is it in not well lit situations?
I personally don't see a difference on glare when it's on or off , the model I got is very bright in dark situations so just check the reviews for the model you are planning to get
Really good question! That was my biggest concern
It really doesn’t surprisingly. And you can angle it away from the screen so it doesn’t hit it, if it is an issue
The bar really provides the vibes when working at night with all the lights off besides the bar, monitor back light, and desk rgb 😎
@@RioPutra_ sir this guy is making this video just so people press the link and make him money. Depending on how good your monitor is you might not even get glare from shinning a torch on it. Also you don’t need this, really it is completely useless
@@ReepsWasteOfTime it really depends on what you want it for and it is not completely useless , I usually use it if I'm doing some kind of work or assignment on paper so it illuminates my whole table , much easier to write on my eyes compared to no light at all. It also makes your whole setup look much nicer than it used to be
@@RioPutra_ exactly 👍🏼 couldn’t have said it better myself.
I have one of these, the BenQ one. It’s really good but it gets in the way of putting your webcam on top of your monitor.
I saw BenQ sells a webcam attachment. Thought that was pretty cool!
had one these for years, defo worth cut back my eye strain, as I like to work in dark so lets me keep my office dark but keep my desk luminated and saves space than a lamp.
Yes!! Love how it saves so much desk space. And it looks pretty cool on top of the monitor if you ask me
I started getting migraines from my led light bar. I do have lattice degeneration in my eyes so if I have LEDs near me I freak out that I'm gonna go blind. All my lights are soft white 2700k so my eyesight doesn't deteriorate that fast
i just added a lightbar and a monitor arm to my monitor and its makes so much difference, its probably one of my best investment on a setup
Heck yes!
can you use it for studying or should i consider buying a desk lamp?
@@CrownCookie for me, I’m a gremlin, I like the dark, it’s definitely enough for me
I recently got both as well, lol.
It's a legitimate game changer, even though most anti-consumer Mormons over here will probably not believe me.
It's their loss, as I'm having fun. 😂
This actually seems really useful.. Idk why there are so many negative comments. I often have a problem where at night I need to use a desk lamp that takes up a lot of space and doesnt light very evenly. I'll check this out
Sweet! Hope you like it
It’s on sale right now for Black Friday 😳 $30!

They're mostly ignorant fools, who have clearly never used a light bar before.
I have one of these and it's invaluable for studying and writing on your desk without taking up any space.
Bro, This is light and gaming setup is firreeeeeee
Thank you man!
@@driggsy No Problem!
Baseus makes incredible desktop accessories and lighting honestly. I trust them for almost all of my accessories. They’re on anker level with build quality and aesthetic
Yes!! Excellent brand 👏🏼
That's a joke, lol.
$50 for a lamp I'm never going to pay for something like that.
It’s really not that bad
Cool, no one asked you to.
i have a book light with a clip and i clip it to my desk it was like $3
the hp omen 27i that i use for my primary monitor has some ambient and task lighting and is a super cool way of making my setup pop
Just started to use it since 1 week man my eyes are feeling more relax
Definitely works and no glare on the monitor surprisingly
Glad it’s working out for you!!
Song in the background should be "Miss You" by Southstar. :)
Thanks m8
Bro has 2 stream decks
😎
no rgb
I love how he spent the majority of the time describing the product and then completely glossed over why it's of any use. "Oh it lights up the space" yeah that's what a light does! Why would I spend $50 on this to do that when I can get a low profile light strip for far cheaper and slap it on the back of the monitor for way more light. Great reveiw /s Lol
I hope you’re having a great day :)
And that would be useful because?
Adding LED strips to the back of the monitor only helps to add more biased lighting, it doesn't nothing for your actual desk top.
Man's neck deep into consumerism
🥰🥰
Pretty much all CZcamsrs are.
But that doesn't take anything way from the usefulness of a monitor light bar at all.
I was extremely sceptical about them, but after buying the BenQ Halo and using it every day for almost a month, I can't go back to a setup without it.
I get a lot less eye strain, and I have no issues working at night.
The only downside is that it messes with webcam angles
Ohhhh very very good point, I didn’t think of that
@@driggsy it’s not that big of an issue and overall I’ve enjoyed having one. It didn’t feel like it helped much until I turned it off for a few days and it was noticeably worse without it.
Got a table lamp from Ikea. I have it hanging from cabinets above my monitor and my entire table lights up
Too bad you can't change the colour temperature or overall brightness of it without buying a fancy Philips Hue bulb.
That's why these light bars exist.
Initially you thought it was pointless. And looking at the video it's clear to see before turning on the light it's not at all difficult to see anything not at all difficult to see the keyboard. It's a cute gadget, and you were right in your initial assessment.
Just because you can see something, doesn't mean it's being optimally illuminated.
You thought it was useless until you received that check for that sponsor 🤑 yeahhhhhhhh
No money was exchanged
Everyone complains about it, it's his money and he can buy whatever he wants at any price he likes
I actually have 2 of this (Baseus) for 2 monitors, my main purpose is for eye protection. Rather than wearing anti-rad glasses, this does the job better.
I have one from that brand too, do you have any problems with them? Mine was randomly registering touches and turned on/off. That's why I removed the capacitive touch and soldered buttons on. Never had problems since.
@@uniformgeist303 happened once, but it fixed it self.
Under 50 bucks?? You telling me you paid 40 dollars for a long lamp?
Awesome setup, do you plan regular yt video with a desk setup?

They're not useful until you're working late at night with an UltraWide, or SuperUltraWide. Then it makes a huge difference. There are also color control ones that help discern pantone/rgb colors better when you're color grading.

I still think having a light bar is dumb. You’re just making the colors washed out with the bright light.

Hummm where is the commercial promotion notification at the bottom doing some sketchy ads without declaring it ? 🤔
Not an ad. This was sent to me as a gift and I chose to create content with it.
@@driggsy so why do you have an affiliate link that count the number of trafic you have create ? Paid product placements are pieces of content that are created for a third party in exchange for compensation. From CZcams guideline it’s write compensation and not only cash the facts that they send you the object still a compensation so you should declare it 😉
