Car makers believe they can help to transform air transport with mass-produced eVTOL aircraft like the S-A1 model that Hyundai recently rolled out at a major air show. The company’s new Supernal division is committed to reducing aviation’s carbon footprint and also to changing the way people live and work with improved transportation options in and around major cities.

So you need oil to power the gens that make the electrics to drive your e cars and flying things . But the oil has been shut off so the gens can't work thanks to the BS on energy , so how good is your things when you can't use them ? Wind and solar will not to the job .

It'll never happen so it's a waste of R&D resources. Have these people ever observed how bad DRIVERS are, and that's 2 or 4 wheels on the ground limited generally to roadways and they put others on the ground at risk. Imagine these same negligent bad drivers flying around in a 360 degree world, nobody would be safe. Plus, there's terrorism and suicides risks. The security risks of more 9/11/01 attacks by lunatics able to strike any tall building or fly over security barriers will prevent the general public from using these. So then it's little more than a helicopter, which requires licensing and training.

Wouldn't believe a darn thing Hyundai says. They don't pay their bills and try to screw you if you are a small company. Been there done that. The only way we got paid was to hang on to their equipment and displays until they showed up with a cashier's check, a truck and some laborers. NEVER do business with these shysters.

In Britain the political culture is against all forms of individual transportation especially cars so I doubt they will allow more aircraft. City airport does NOT allow business jets; the very thing it was designed for as this seems to promote privilege.

All electric is not environmentally friendly. 80% of the energy use is in the manufacture of a car. Same with this if not more. Plus, electric? That requires added battery weight. Lots of weight. And range anxiety without wheels on the ground. How do lightning strikes effect an electric plane? New layers of FAa bureaucracy and what will I surance cost? This will not be for the masses. It will be for the rich. They will have to y low over the layers that ring the big cities with a seething mass of poor who hate them. They will be shooting g at you as you fly low under the airplane traffic. It's called a turkey shoot.
