So, this is the new Gamesir X4 Aileron and it’s a two piece Bluetooth controller that attaches to either side of your phone thanks to spring loaded clamps. It auto powers on once you engage the clamps and auto-powers off once you remove your phone - very slick. Each controller has a 400mAh battery and joins together via magnets into this very travel friendly size.
It features Hall Effect joysticks, dual mode triggers, microswitch buttons and RGB lights. The real standout feature though is how versatile they are. You can use a single side only. You can use them like joy cons for a completely wireless experience and you can also technically use it like a standard controller too because there are magnets to keep it together, but they're super weak.
Retail price is $99 just like the fan-favorite G8. I still prefer the G8 because of better ergonomics and the USB connection. But the portability and joy-con like functionality on here is pretty awesome if you don’t mind Bluetooth.

Looks like it doesn't work with a case. I've got the Backbone, and this is annoying. I use a regular controller 95% of the time.
