  • The greatest wide receiver of his era and the most terrifying deep threat in the history of football, Randy Moss was a force of nature at the collegiate level. After one season of toying with SoCon defenses, he moved up with Marshall into the ranks of division I-A football, where he continued to rewrite the record books.
Footage taken from a variety of sources. I got a lot of them from this fine channel: / weherdu

With all due respect to my fellow Moc Terrell Owens, Randy Moss was the greatest receiver to go into the Hall of Fame in 2018. I hope that this video does him justice, as Moss was the kind of player that was so good that highlights don't quite capture his dominance. I wish that I had released this video about 2 months ago, since Harris Highlights beat me to it when it came to dropping a Moss video. Alas, I hope that you all enjoy the video.
PS: I think that I prefer putting music in a lot of my videos now, albeit only instrumentals. It's better than hearing silence or the rattling of a projector for modern players, especially when there's no commentary to go behind it. I'll never put songs with vocals in the background of my highlight videos, that's for sure.

I agree, Randy Moss was the truth. Greatest athlete ever at receiver. May not have been the greatest receiver (Jerry Rice:) but he is the greatest pure athlete at the position. Also, please do one for Rod Woodson at Purdue. There are tons of videos of his college games. Thanks and keep'em comin'.

If possible could you make a Peter Warrick highlight video?

@@dholyfield01 I've been praying for the same thing. There's so much FSU footage available from the late 90's. Would make for a great highlight reel.

You two aren't the only ones to ask for a Warrick video. JSN highlights has asked for one as well. But a Warrick video would be such a huge endeavor though. I'd have to go through 30+ games to make that video. That's a gigantic time investment.

Still boggles my mind how low he went in the draft. I was a Moss super fan back then and now. Using my free AOL discs to sign-on and watch his highlights in 8th-9th grade! Great times

So...I remember being in junior high and week after week they'd have highlights of this Marshall team and I'd keep seeing this player with the number 88 and each time he's scoring these amazing touchdowns. He turned out to be Randy Moss.

Thanks! There's some really good free to use instrumental music on CZcams. A lot better than most of the autotuned mumble-rap that most videos use.

Surely I'm not the only person who longed for a Pennington to Moss connection in the NFL?? No QB in the NFL ever hit Randy in stride like Chad Pennington.....

I wanted that soooooo bad! I went to MU and seen every single game live. Watching Moss casually throw the left arm up - indicating “I’m open“ -and subsequently blow by a DB was one of the great pleasures in my young life. And you are 100% correct, nobody quite hit Moss in stride like Pennington.
Indeed, Pennington had a beautiful touch on long or short passes and made his deep ball look effortless as he placed the perfect amount of air under it to allow Randy to run right underneath it for an easy six.
People always talked about Chad not having an arm, these were people who never watched him play in college. I wish that he had remained healthy and him and Randy got to play together on Sundays.
