I don’t really watch much late night TV in general… I loathe partisan American politics- left or right- and so I’m not Kimmel or Colbert’s target audience, even though I think they are both talented individuals. I would watch the Tonight Show if Fallon weren’t so insufferable. Now, I’d watch any late night show Dana Carvey hosted!

I assumed it was a pre-recorded skit, but no, Dana ran back and forth putting on and taking off the wig, live. And his ability to change characters so fast is truly amazing. His Trump is way better than Alec Baldwin's. His Carson was spot on, as well.

Carvey does the same bits/impressions all the time. He's funny, no doubt, but enough to sustain a talk show 5 nights a week for years and years? He's 67, no spring chicken, doing a daily show is a huge grind and better suited to younger people. I doubt he would want all the work and hassle that comes with a talk show at this stage of his life. He doesn't need to work.

Always loved his impressions. His Bush Sr. was spot on. His Orange Caligula impression is perfect and his Biden is great too. I’m not sure if it’s better than Jim Carey’s, too tough to call. We’re doomed. At least we can still laugh.

I'd really rather you had someone younger running next election, biden got elected because it was him or trump, simple as that really. Put Mayor Pete in and I think youd do well (if he can put up with the homophobia that might come with it)
I guess everyone has their own opinions and that's fine, but I thought it wasn't funny at all and his impersonations of Biden and Trump were not good at all. But with 700k views and only 10k upvotes, most people didn't find it funny.
