  • Finally got UISP R router to work with Hairpin rule for port forwarding.
It allows you to leave your local network and access a local server from outside using local connection to your public ip and access services.
Very Helpful for security cameras and other devices that require public ip access.
Here is also a documentation on how to achieve port forwarding nd Hairpin on Ubiquiti website in documentation.
    See link below.

This got my port forwarding working after moving from an EdgeRouter Lite to a UISP-R D60👍. Thanks!

    Question please....
I have been unable to adopt my Edge Router 4 using the UISP, could this method help fix that problem for me?
Kindly note that my let's encrypt fails the challenge tests also... I can't seem to find out why and there aren't videos explaining that.
    Please help. Thanks 🙏

This video is totally unrelated to your issue, UISP R is a new cloud based router from Ubiquiti. Edge router is from Edgemax series. What is your Edge Router 4 Firmware version ? I see if I can help with UISP connection. Also where is your UISP account hosted in cloud or on your own hosted server?
