    I'll be so glad when they start chubba so cory can stop blaming everything wrong with this team on blackmon. This team is so bad in many other areas besides blackmon. Yeah blackmon is not the qb for this team but did you see that o line? The o line was like an open gate. The defense is terrible hasn't got a 3 and out in 2 games. Players still getting stupid penalties smh but put it all on blackmon he's the reason for all of this. But what you don't hear is these coaches are looking bad just like willie did last year and worse. At least last year's team scored points. They started this hype train about these coaches but now wanna throw all the blame on blackmon.

      Blackman ain’t it..he’s been there long enough for us to see he can’t move the ball consistently..only reason he’s even playing is because his arm is slightly better than Jordan’s which ain’t much to talk about either way..but when Jordan is in the game you know he’s running but can’t stop him til he got hurt..when James is in the game defense still know he struggles in the passing game and can’t get thru his reads fast enough..they load the box and send the house at him every time playing man in the back..at least with Jordan you slow that down a Little bit..also blackmans throwing mechanics are extremely flawed causing him to be late on a lot of throws and hesitate on throwing the ball in tight windows..when bubba bolden broke up that pass blades intercepted on the goal line he was super late throwing that ball

Secondly, Jaelen Phillips play only a half and had 3 tackles and 2 defensive stops. 2011, Jimbo went with a youth movement in the champs sports bowl vs a much better ND team at that point. He started all new Olineman, with freshmen WRs and we struggled. But in the end the game was won. That move alone because he knew Winston was coming the next year, propelled them to the 2013 NC! But I was celebrating 2 years later when that line was grown up and paying off. People just need to chill and accept that we're going thru it now. Not fun to watch AT ALL. But these growing pains are inevitable for a program that has had the experience of the past 3 years, unfortunate but it's reality. True fans will give this staff a chance and not be lost like some of these players seem to be. It's hard but it's not like we have many options roster wise. Now it's time to invest in the future. Most Noles fans have never known anything like this with our beloved team. Have some faith and hope, and patience. There's a lot of young guys on the roster that are desperate to get a chance to make a difference. It's gonna be a tough road but they need us to have faith in them. The notion that we'll have a running game with only TB/QB counters, draws, and stretches out of the shotgun is unheard of at least as Iong as I've watched football. I mean Kenny Dillingham, please talk to me. A TB lead or dive out of an under center formation. Simple.
    2. Respectfully, if we look at the +/- of the LBs 1 and 35 over their careers, it's inexcusable that they still get playing time.
    3. The backups clearly have out earned the starters except for Asante and Amari, and need more time.
    4. I think it's time to hand the reigns to Tate Rodemaker. The season is over at this point we need to start developing the real future of this program.

    One of the keys to Norvell's success at Memphis was a FAMILY ATTITUDE within the team. Everyone covered each others back. If you function as a TEAM and really care about each other..you can achieve great things...even with a bunch of 2 and 3 star players. It's all about attitude and committment. Right now.....that is not at FSU. Give it time. I am a Memphis alum from Florida and saw Norvell do some great things with less talent that is available to a school in Florida like FSU. Memphis hired former Ole Miss Def Coordinator and Colorado Head Coach Mike MacIntyre to replace Fuller...so we may have improved ourselves on defense. Another week and another video SLAMMING Blackman....did you not watch the terrible play by the OLine??? Which has been an issue for like 5 years! The guy literally couldn’t go through his reads and they say he stares down his receivers...he doesn’t have time to look around! Lol! Our talent isn’t there, the culture isn’t there, and the COACHING isn’t there!!! A coaches job is to take the talent you have and make the most of it. Again we made NO adjustments to win. The running game had some good plays but we didn’t go to it enough...lots of misdirection and getting Toafili and Travis involved! And the defensive scheme appears to be let them catch it and then tackle but hell thats giving them 5-6 yards a play! Smh!

    • @christhompson3489
      @christhompson3489 Před 3 lety +1

      Can we really blame the OLINE when toafili had 64 yards on 8 carries..our receivers can’t get separation or run routes..aside from go routes and slants they don’t do anything else..and Blackman has poor mechanics..he’s late on a lot of passes because his delivery is too long

    • @JBiv-941
      @JBiv-941 Před 3 lety

      Chris Thompson there is a big deference between run blocking and pass blocking...our OLine has been terrible at pass blocking for a minute. The game starts in the trenches...the run game and short passing attack works because the OLine can hold for that initial push but for the passing plays that need time for routes to develop they can’t give the QB time. I’m not saying that Blackman is a great QB...not even a good one but if he isn’t even given a chance then we can’t blame him!

      J. Biv Blackman needs a running game..OLINE gets confidence from said running game..I’m not blaming him for our mishaps..but he certainly ain’t exempt either..i don’t think we’re asking too much of him to take command of the offense..he doesn’t change protections he doesn’t call audibles he doesn’t make checks or hits his check down much..he forces throws into coverage.. and aborts the moment he sees a rusher..he had time to make better throws he just doesn’t move well in the pocket to keep plays alive..deshaun Watson has the same OLINE issues but not the same production..he keeps plays alive
