- In this video, my buddy Shane and I are fishing a saltwater spillway right after a massive cold front!
We are not expecting much to happen, but it ends up being one of the most INSANE days of fishing of my life!

@@JD-sb4ss I would. My dad had the same thing happen to him while trolling in 15-20ft of water. Rod got pulled out of the boat and he eventually snagged the rod and the fish was still on -- decent size largemouth bass.
@@nckhed wow me too! The other day I was fishing in 6 inches of water and I caught a 5000 pound bull shark attached to someone else’s lure with a gold bar on it! Crazy right?

what a fun video! Love those reds and black drum. Same thing happened to me in Cedar Key. I could see them tailing. and every time they grabbed it-- they let go. sometimes a bigger hook works. awesome! and love all the CATCH AND RELEASE!

Amazing catch my friend. So cool dude got his rod back with the fish still on it. The no stretch of the braid, especially with very little out is probably why you missed the first two. You ripped the hook out. I've learned that the hard way. When there's very little line out I just reel down and let the rod set the hook. Another reason I switched back to mono and flora carbon. That and it tore my elbows up. Awesome vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏
