Happy 40th anniversary to the OGs! I saw it yesterday and it was fantastic! Also had some fright jumps 5 or 6 times when watching for the first time! 😅 Thank you, #BillMurray, #DanAkyroyd, #ErnieHudson and #AnniePotts. WE AIN’T AFRAID OF NO GHOSTS!

I loved the movie and it was awesome movie and I would love to see some new Lego sets on Ghostbusters and I’m in for more movies and see the original actors again.
I’ve never really been a big fan of Ghostbusters, but even I think LEGO has been missing out on sets
I’m a big fan - I don’t know anything beyond the films, mind - I would buy any LEGO set of it. I’ve missed the releases thus far annoyingly but I do really want to get the £210 Ecto-1
It was such a joy to watch the Spengler family as official Ghostbusters. My only problem with the movie is that many of the fantastic new characters are being underutilized

We better get a updated firehouse Lego set from the old one
I have the old lego ecto-1 and was gonna get the firehouse but it is very expensive
It'd be really nice to get one maybe a little smaller to keep the price down, but including both the original crew and the one from the new movies and the Ecto 1 as a separate set
We could’ve gotten a small wave of sets, like that motorcycle you mentioned easily could’ve been a $10 set.
I wish they’d do an updated firehouse, and then I have an idea for a smaller, $20-30 set. So basically it has four minifigures- Ray Stanz, Patton Oswald’s character, Phoebe, and Podcast. It’s based on the scene at the library, but it’s where the ghost possessed the lion. So there would be a brick built lion (or a mold but I don’t see that happening), the Ecto-C (the little bike thing), there would be a candle stick piece for the recorded chanting, a cop car, and maybe a vignette of the library scene if so desired. I think it could be a cool little set
Throw in the library ghost too- doesn’t that one actually have an existing figure?

Hopefully lego makes a “Infinity Saga” style set for the Firehouse, like have the original team and the team from afterlife/frozen empire, along with a few ghosts and an Ecto one
Lego needs to cash in on this Franchise. I would really like to see more sets with minifigures
Honestly, a Ghostbusters "containment unit" in the same vein as the Harry Potter trunk would be incredible....give us a bunch of torsos and heads with a small lab build to design our own Ghostbusters team. Maybe there isn't a market for that nowadays, but I think Ghostbusters is a franchise that would lend itself well to custom characters.
I also think a buildable Stay-Puft Marshmallow man would fly off the shelves. They could throw in Venkman and Gozer minifigs which would be perfect
I've always thought that LEGO and Travellers tales were missing out on not making a Ghostbusters LEGO game, now we have 4 movies that genuinely could make a great game
LEGO need to give us an updated Ecto-1.
They should have made a final battle diorama set where it’s the ghost busters vs the ice ghost chick [haven’t seen the movie yet, skipped the spoilers, just came for the lego idea]

I managed to avoid the trailers and it was so good, i watched it twice this week and the second time i noticed so many small details that are so nice after knowing what will happen, ghostbusters is one of my favorite franchises of all time i first watched 3 months before my grandpa died and i couldent have been more into it at the time (keep in mind i was 10) i needed somthing to wear and my mom got me a ghostbusters jumpsuit to keep me busy while she took care of everything, she let me wear it to the funeral, i know that he was getting a good laugh about that up above. After that i was very depresed but to keep me going i decided to save up for the fire house but to my suprise, a good friend of my grand parents didnt want me sad so she bought it for me, it was my first truly big lego set and i think its what got me here today in the lego space and tought me that things will get better. Sorry for long comment just a long story

It's shocking that Lego haven't come out with anything to tie in with Frozen Empire considering they came out with the Afterlife Ecto-1.
Indiana Jones’s sets didn’t do good this go round, Ghostbusters would’ve fallen to the same fate with their sets

We definately need an updated firehouse, and this was the perfect opportunity, I get that there’s very few moments from the film that can be sets on their own, but we needed at least one set based on this film. And like you said there are multiple reasons to re release/ make an updated one: the set goes for a ridiculous price online, is nearly 10 years old, has those crumbly dark red bricks, and to get the spenglers/new side characters that didnt come in the afterlife ecto one, if they were to do a set it would have to be this one. But im not holding out hope, lego seems to very strongly dislike money
Lego DEFINITELY missed out on making sets for this film. I, too, agree that they should rerelease Icons sets if we might've missed out on it cause I'm kicking myself for not getting the Firehouse, Ecto-1, and all of the previous Ghostbuster minifigs when they initially released.
I just seen it and yeah I had fun but it’s not as amazing as i expected! BUT!!! That being said I will definitely watch it again and probably have a better set of eyes on it
tbh i was never a playmobil fan but i think they had the best ghostbusters toys. super fun to play with! i really wish they did afterlife and frozen empire sets
Honestly, when it comes to Ghostbusters lego, they should do a few smaller sets. The firehouse is iconic, but too expensive, which is why i dont have it (i only have the first IDEAS set and the starter and stay puft packs from dimensions). We could get small battlepack sets from each movie. Bits of equipment, relevant main villains (gozer and vigo...), etc...
Would have been awesome if they lego made new lego sets from the new Ghostbusters movie
This movie was fine. I wish Lego would make more Dune sets due to how well that movie is doing both financially and critically
I've watched the new movie in the theater few weeks ago it was awesome twice as better than the first one they've made few years ago

I so regret not buying two or three of the Firehouse sets… I have my one set in storage unbuilt still but can’t part with it.
Isn’t it the movie makers themselves selves who go ahead and give the set ideas to lego and pay them to make the sets … so it’s not entirely legos fault
That’s for sure part of it. But looking online, I see quite a lot of Frozen Empire toys 🤷♂️

Confused by the request for the Delorean to be remade. The Icons Delorean is incredible and pretty much a perfect rendition of the car. That was fairly recent. Still on shelves.
Myself and many others want a Minifigure scale Deloreon. Preferably from the Speed Champions theme.
Like…. Look at the roof shaping. That’s so outdated
I liked the movie the movie but the ending was anticlimactic, I wanted more scenes of the New York citizens being affected by the ice storm (not just the beach scene) and they hype up the villain with a death chill only to be defeated too quickly.

I get what you were going for with those custom figures but jeez those are cursed- just goes to show how much we need sets. Indiana Jones isn’t more popular than Ghostbusters (anymore) and we could get three sets coinciding with the new film, they missed a huge opportunity not doing any sets for this film. Oh well, Jason’s plan is to do another film every two years or something so there’s still hope.
Just got back from seeing it. Really enjoyed it but agree WAY too much spoilt by the trailers.

I feel like Ghostbuster doesn't hold up today. And the new ones fall flat.
Bit of a hot take but i dont think they have made a bad ghostbusters movie, even the 2016 one was good it just should never have existed

Literally the only movie I want to see this year is Deadpool & Wolverine Everything else seems so not interesting to me when it comes to the movie in comparison to that movie

LEGO has gotten stingy on licenses. Lots of new movies they skipped. No Dial of Destiny, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire, Aquaman 2. I guess they want to avoid the era of tie-ins with unsuccessful movies.
Indiana Jones was brought back for Dial of Destiny. Aquaman 2 technically turned a profit, barely though.
And Frozen Empire is surpassing what the studio was wanting, budget of $100M, I have zero doubt it’ll turn a profit.

Sorry didn’t enjoy this one. Glad most people like it. It was just so messy too many characters Phoebe literally did most of the work again 😂
