Today we take a quick look at the crafting system in the recently release RPG looter slasher, Godfall. The crafting system mainly consists of two system, upgrading and enchanting. Both of them can give you a massive increase in stats and overall power if used correctly.

I would only recommend fully upgrading a item like this when you're level 50 and getting max level items, that or you're having a difficult time killing a boss and need some extra power.
Yeah because it seems like there's a limit to how much power is added. They made it seem like you could take a midgame weapon all the way to the endgame but that's not true because the power never reaches endgame levels.
how can you tell, if you got the best items in the game?
They lied about taking a low level weapon with you for the whole game because it's still level capped
You can upgrade a lv 10 weapon that does 40 damage to like 100 damage
And when you are level 40 you find the same weapon but it will be doing 300 damage without upgrades
You can only take weapons with you for like 15 levels higher
Exactly. Totally agree with you. This system is stupid. It’ll make way more sense if you could upgrade the level of the weapons too.

I'm only Level 20 and have resisted the urge to upgrade my two favourite Legendary weapons. I have no idea how rare the upgrade materials are in the long run. But, from what i've played, the game seems very generous with loot and resources. The fact you can re-spec your skills at anytime, even mid-mission is a godsend.
Tldr do not fk with it until ur item is level 50
I found two weapons i keep upgrading and that works for me.
One of my legendary items has a lock why cant i salvage it
nice, been enjoying the combat in the game. I hope the endgame keeps me playing

Is there any way to increase an items level? The developers stated you'd be able to carry the same weapon through the entire game
Not that I have seen. Turning and item into legendary and fully upgrading would make it last a long time though.
@@osterberg501 Would not recommend that at all. Items get outdated very quickly. I would just upgrade the legendary ones and no more than to 4 because to 5 you need boss materials. Better to save materials till you reach level cap
Crafting wouldn’t be the word to use. More like optimizing. I wish we could really craft items.
I'm not sure why sometimes it does not allow you to salvage items :(
See if you have them equipped on a different valor plate. If you do you can’t salvage them.

Is it worth? Been burned by a lot of live service games...
Its not a live service game, but I would recommend watching some gameplay or streams to see if its something you would like.
its fun but pretty basic, the builds are ok, the loot is ok and the gameplay is super fun. Probably wait till its on sale or gets a major update to end game though

True, but you can also enchant all items to legendary except for augments.
@@osterberg501 So is it worth fully upgrading an item at each level of enchantment? Or is it better to just enchant up to legendary and then upgrade?
They could’ve did way more with this game the reviews pretty bad
