Best Belgium Enduro MTB trails? - Liege - Riding at my favorite trail spot!

- This time I could finally show my mate Callum my favorite trail spot. Its been a long time since I rode here due to Covid. I forgot how challenging the trails are in this area due to their natural and unshaped character. Super chunky, rooty, rocky and some black trails are proper steep. The environment there contains also a lot of big rocks/builders between the loamy ground, so there are rockdrops everywhere :). Especially the last trail you see in this video is probably one of the most challenging and steep trails i've ever ridden. Rode this one the first time; what an insane trail! Even Callum had some trouble keeping his feet off the ground (he was riding on a short travel trailbike though ;)). The day was very nice; spicy trails, prime trail conditions, great weather, tasty beers and a lot of shredding!

UPDATE ABOUT LOCATION: I changed the location to secret since there is some controversy in this area about the trails. Locals try to make the trails officially legal in cooperation with the municipality, but there is a lot of resistence. So the spot needs to have a low profile!

Nice video dude, I've been there recently, (now busy editing), don't think I know the jumpy trail though. Did ride la Golden (your last trail in the video) with that narly beginning ) but had to take a few run in's and pointers on how to ride that big ass rockslab. be sure to check it out soon. 🤙🏼

Nice! Amazing trail center he? The jumpy trail? You mean the gully one or with the big jump? All the trails you see in this vid are not part of the new center unfortunately. See my newest vid for some trails that are legal; la golden wasflam and blaireau

Yeah, its a shame that a lot of such spots close to NL are kept secret because of controversy about riding such trails with authorities. We already have so little enduro/DH riding around..

@@lars6870 geen overkill, is wel relaxt daar met alle drops en steil terrein. Je kan altijd met minder maar 160+ is wel zo fijn voor je lichaam ;)
Sorry to be a dealbreaker here but currently there is a lot of controversy about riding those trails. Locals are trying to negotiate with the local authorities to build legal trails here in a similar fashion as done in Bouillon. Please try and minimize the traffic here to avoid conflict such that soon we can ride those trails legally!
I see you put a lot of effort into this video so I won't ask you to delete it, but may I suggest you change the title and all notions of the location to avoid people from going here? Thanks!

Hi Charles, to my understanding the trails now are official
The ambleve trailcenter will be officially opened in april I believe! The trails in this video are not part of this new center, so unfortunately these are currently illegal.. Lots of other nice trails to choose from though! I will post a new vid of the official stuff next week!

@@Thealchemist233 Sorry, 11 months late with replying 😅. You've probably ridden the trails by now, but blacks in Ambleve are more way more difficult than Witten blacks.
@@treedodgercharles idd intussen al 3x geweest. Wat een vette trailcentre. Was vorig week voor het 1st in les hautes rivierres, en vond het minder uitdagend dan Ambleve (maar nog steeds wel supervet).

Remouchamps, but all trails in this video are either not rideable anymore or illegal. Instead go shred the trails of Ambleve Trail Center, super fun as well!

Not the ones in this video unfortunately, they are not part of the new trail center in Ambleve and thus are illegal to ride.. Check my newest vid for some other fun trails that are legal now!
