instruction books clearly says that top row is the hottest, so makes sense to put chips there and rotate the trays and if not cooked long enough (as on this demo) just cook it for a bit longer!
thank you, very informative and funny as well!
Thanks very much for this, very informative
Glad it was helpful!
I've got one. You have to tie the chicken legs and wings as it stops it rotating. The wire trays are very easy to clean, that did surprise me. I am still coming to grips with no basket.
Useful to know, thank you! :)
If you could would you change this for another one if so which one and why, I am looking into getting one for Christmas, but I have no idea about these, I would like to be able to cook a whole large chicken in it, and also fry ups i.e chicken nuggets, let me know thanks.
I have one with a basket,but i jate it...cos its difficult to clean.😊
*hate it*
@@JudyjusyYou ate it, how is that even possible?
Nicely presented; factual, in formative and thank you. :)
Excellent review. Very helpful and informative. Thank you.
Which cooking function do you use to reheat most foods properly
What happened to the chicken .....This feature sets it apart from most of the other air fryers and you didn't show us.
He didn't have any string so he made an absolute balls of it.
What’s the best way to cook chicken wings in this air fryer ?
Hi ,nice review upgrading my old are fryer and want a large air fryer for a family. Any recommendations
The Tower is great because it has 3 tiered racks you can use to cook multiple ingredients at once. The Ninja Foodi is also great for bigger one-pot dishes and also has racks to cook across multiple levels, too. You can start comparing the best air fryers we recommend here - www.finder.com/uk/shopping/air-fryers
@@FinderUK Thanks for the info👍
Very helpful review, just got my own and prefer videos like this to get an idea of how to use first.
Is there a way to disable the noise it makes when clicking the buttons ?
You can mute the button noise on some air fryers, but it looks like the Tower doesn't have this feature I'm afraid. Hope that helps 😊
Any idea how to change the bulb...... only had product since July 8th 23 .... shocked its blown .... nothing in the instructions how to change.
I'm afraid we do not - your best bet would be to contact Tower and see if they can advise you
Oh dear its not a replaceable part.... 3 week old and bulb as blown.....
The wire trays on this model are dead easy to clean just soak in warm soapy water . Easy Peasy.
Thanks mine only just arrived and I was worried about that.
I'm glad you said that because that was a concern for me Vs the drawer type
Is the light not supposed to stay on the whole time when cooking?
I think for some models the lights doesn't stay on the whole time, but there should be a button so you can turn it on quickly when you want to check on your food 🤔
Thank you for your reply 😊

you can do a small chicken in it but you'll need to tie it up/truss it, its great for fries, chicken nuggets and fish finger etc.
It's a bit hit and miss for steaks as i like them medium rare so would need to get a pretty thick steak so not to cook it al the way through and still render the fat, been experimenting with belly pork and need to do a couple more tests to get good crackling.
@@anthonyh4745 Any idea what size would be able to handle a large whole chicken tied up, or would I need to just keep using the gas over for that application ?
I nearly fell asleep, is the start button supposed to flash when cooking
Heya, with the Tower models, I believe the "working light" will turn on and off to indicate when the heating element is on or off as it regulates the temperature. Hope that helps 😊
A big plus, not cooking your food in plastic buckets!
Are you sure you can buy a chip basket separately?
Yep, it's called a "mesh chip basket" and is sold separately. Looks like a cool attachment.
@@FinderUKCost?
I've just ordered a rotating chip drum from the Tower wesite. Sounds like the ideal solution - no need to keep removing a basket to shake it!
@@dianarobertson5846 I bought one, too. Makes all the difference. Fries taste deep fried.
any link cant find it?@@FinderUK
Any idea how to turn the beeping off?
Not totally sure! Might be worth contacting Tower directly as it seems like you're not alone wanting to turn the beeping off.
I would have to disagree with the cleaning. I have, or did use a basket air fryer, and i found it an absolute nightmare to clean. Also, once you've got burnt on oil on it, it is virtually impossible to remove. I've not had a single problem cleaning the racks with this air fryer. I got this one to replace the basket air fryer, not just because it was cumbersome to clean, but also because the non-stick coating had started to peel away. Admittedly, it was a 50 quid Blaupunkt from B&M, and i have used it for about 3 years.
Very interesting! Thanks for your feedback 😊
Show us a rotisserie chicken in that please
Lots of other tutorial & instructional videos on CZcams that show you exactly what you are looking for. Excellent one's 2..... Check out this one mate...😊czcams.com/video/LrurUU6U-Wg/video.html
A whole chicken comes out great in there but better to tie it out with butchers twine before putting it in there like it says in the instructions, not like it was shown in the video
If the chips isn't crispy enough, then put them back and cook them for longer! It's not the fault of the air fryer! 🤦♀
I bought mine in 2022 and all it included is the wire trays and the rotisserie.
Hmmm interesting, you can buy a lot of the accessories separately from various retailers if you want to add to your kit 😊
You didn't show the cooked chicken
Probably turn out shitty.
Should have been tied up with butchers twine, leaving the legs and wings all dangling about it just gone make a horrible mess in there
Just leave the chips in longer for more crisp
Why is Finder reviewing air fryers?
cant imagine getting a very big pizza in this .
Yeh! It'd have to be a little snacking pizza, I reckon 😊
Bad review. you get 3 years warranty instead of just 1 on the ninja for much better price. if you make the chicken, you need to tie the legs.
You get a 3 yr with this tower when you register it. I have one.
Yes and also the tower 5 in 1 is only 99 the ninjas over 200 either heard nothing about good reviews on the tower if you're going to get a person like this to review an oven even if this gentleman has never used one before which obviously he hasn't because he didn't know how to tie the chicken up then yes he's going to look at the time of the chips but he's missing the point You've got three trays of chips which will take longer than just one tray in a conventional air fryer he's putting in three times as many product of course it's not going to be as crispy because it's got to cook three times as much
3 year warranty on this model also
That chicken didn’t turn! Fail !
Yes, shame we didn't see the state of the chicken once cooked, nor the state of the fryer after having the legs dragged across the bottom a thousand times.
@@gshort4707 Also, all that chicken fat constantly dripping onto the bottom of the fryer is going to make one unholy mess. Truss the chicken well and a tray in the bottom.
Oh, dear! That poor chicken! You need to fix her legs onto the rod, otherwise they'll drop off when half cooked. Plus, you must put the bottom tray in, otherwise you'll have grease pouring everywhere inside and out 😱🥺😨😳
like he said, super charged Oven and at 2KW power, it's not much energy saving as usual ovens are in 3KW range, I would not buy this. Thanks for the review, it helped me making up my mind !
A few things to note. A small air fryer is about 1.5Kw and the larger 2 zone\drawer ones can be 2.5kw so this ones not way out compared to others. The advantage to air fryers is they'll warm up a lot faster and use less power while cooking. Probably cook your meal for less than the cost of pre-heating a conventional oven!
Spot on Banyus…what a disastrous review…I’ll never buy one of those..The manufacturer is probably seething😡..chicken didn’t rotate as it wasn’t trussed.😂
What happened to the chicken?!?!!!... 🤔
It's quite annoying that you should have to constantly rotate the trays? I expected the fan to circulate the heat accordingly! What a bummer 👎
Agreed! An interesting set back to what is, in other ways, one of the better air fryers.
@@FinderUK I'll let you know how good it is real soon! Mines in the post😃..... Learning from your mistakes to eh.... Leaving chicken bits hanging to drag as it rotates is a bad move altogether.....I ordered Meat tying string....😉I got the "Circular" Barrel unit also.....They seem to perform a really quite well with chicken wings also.....Time will tell eh Mukr. Time will tell. 🤣
@@LJHPlastering OR the person using it..
Bro, I'm pretty sure you need to tie arms and legs not to touch everywhere in the room. 5:30
The music playing while the guy is talking is very very off putting missing some of his words. Get rid of background music
Pleasant presentation but music too busy.
Use a drip tray/a string to tie chicken/I haven't tried using the kebab skewers for whole chicken and wings but it may work/chips are better cooked in a rotisserie barrel/turn chip trays around as they cook quicker at the back of the oven/top tray can cook too quickly and burn edges/jumbo sausages are good from the barrel/wings stick to barrel sometimes and make it harder to clean//you can see the food cooking/even tho it's 11L a basket fryer can be filled with more food and is handier/saves money on electricity/movable so can save on lingering cooking smells by plugging in for example in garage/you can use recipes not for air fryers just reduce the temp by 25ºF to 50ºF and reduce cooking time by 20%/Specs are 11L/2000w/up to 200 temp.
Hè bè ont aura compris , il cuit
Les kebab😂
REALLY??? who would cook a chicken without trussing it? No drip tray either.!
😂 a little unorthodox I appreciate, we just wanted to give you an idea of whether it would fit. 100% more prep needed for actual cooking
What was the point of chicken demo,.Didnt show it going around or how it looked cooked, in fact I wouldnt be surprised if it didnt rotate as legs looked like they would get stuck due to size. Pointless video
Very bad product reviewer. When you review and show such this type of product, you sould show the buttons and how these are handled
You can only cook with the top tray, the rest is just a gimmick
Not so!
@@dianarobertson5846 Absolutely not so. I do it every day.
Put me off when he said rotate the trays to much bother & how many times do you need to rotate opening the door losing heat & another problem with airfryers OK cooking a chicken what about parsnips spuds veg etc I see he never washed hands after touching the chicken touching the door & buttons who just cooks chips?
What are wasted time
