  • Found 2 cracked wires at the temperature sensor at the back of the unit once wire was almost broken, that's why everytime it was agitating it was creating error code, resoldered it back, works perfectly fine 😀

    Hameed, this video saved me hundreds of dollars. I discovered the exact same issue with a cracked wire at the zip tie that you identified in the video. I never would have noticed it without this! Thank you very much for helping me! I soldered the wires, shrink wrapped the connection and I’m back in business. Incidentally, over the past 10 years I’ve also repaired the washer filler hose, the front door gasket and the door locking mechanism all with help from CZcams so thank you for helping us home handymen! 👍🏼👊🏼

    Thank you so much for posting this, Hameed. I actually went to a repair shop first asking about the code and they mentioned it was the temperature sensor failure code. I found your video and I had the exact same issue with a broken wire on one of the two conductors exactly at the nylon zip tie. Apparently it is a relatively common failure point because the factory didn't allow for enough slack to account for tub vibration. I crimped on an electrical crimp sleeve and did NOT replace the zip tie and I am back up and running.

    Thanks for this video Hameed. Had the same problem and you helped us avoid a call to a repair shop. Same broken wires right at the tie.

    This helped me although thr wire wasn't broken. I just took the sensor out and put it back in then somehow it worked.

    Thanks... I looked at the wire and it looked ok. but when I saw you find the broken wires. I said to myself Maybe it is the wire. So I cut the tie off and the black wire was broken.
    You saved me some money too... I will subscribe.....

    So we have the same code. I replaced the sensor, and wires seem to be fine as well. It only happens when the spin cycle is going, so no water should be coming in. Could it be a false error? I’ve cleaned out the filter, and water does indeed get pumped out at different times.

      nodeGarden Mondo did you check your coin trap, the black rubbery piece under the washer tub?

    • @nomadicMondo
      @nomadicMondo Před 6 lety

      That was the one place I didn't check. Turns out to be the sensor wire, though we can't find WHERE the fault is. A bit of wiggling, and now it's worked for 2 days. If it happens again, then we'll just replace those completely. Thanks
