once I learned that about myself I’ll use it as a hack for myself lol. I’ll force my bf to give me a topic, then whatever happens happens. It’s like flipping a coin and knowing what you want immediately before the result

I love your voiceovers so much- "I was going to explain this, but I actually don't know how"- way more entertaining than an actual explanation, I love the honesty. The neon green/orange combo is so great!

I love a chaotic voiceover. Normal is boring. And hearing a person whose art you admire ramble on and admit the have no idea wtf they’re talking about is so refreshing. Lmao It actually takes away some of the toxic comparison aspect of looking at other artists social media. If it was perfect and educational, it would be intimidating, but when you are a real human, it makes it feel approachable and entertaining. We need more zany voiceovers. Lol

I love colored pencils for the same reason. It’s the medium to master for hobby artist as it is virtually mess-free, you don’t have to care about drying times or chemicals and can let a piece sit untouched for years without issue, the pencils can’t go bad or get dry or whatever and even the super high quality materials are still relatively cheap compared to a lot of other mediums. If you really know what you’re doing and by using the right paper, you can even get an oil-painting-like look. Colored pencils are simply unbeaten imo.
Exactly! They are so fun and forgiving and economic frankly 😁 you can also easily travel with them

the way you explain your process and the random topics inbetween about the thoughts you have make me feel not so alone and also make me want to actually draw along with you and watch more of your videos. its like drawing with a friend over facetime or something.

I really enjoyed watching you use just coloured pencils. It was sped up just the right amount so we could see what you were doing and how the colours worked together so well. i love listening to you. usually i just put these sort of videos as background noise, but you’re just so effortlessly witty and funny and the frogs just … enraptured me.
Being patient, layering using pastels with a dark grape and boosting colours with neon prismacolours is valuable information that you still clearly conveyed. Also you showed wonderful examples of using this technique! It was a fun authentic video, thanks.

I paint with coloured pencil al the time. Its so versatile. So great on its own or over other mediums. I mix my brands all the time too. These are adorable.
