Great tutorial for a great bag! At times, I struggled to see what you were doing cause of the black material, but you explained everything so well that it wasn't a problem. I love my bag and am looking forward to using it when bub arrives!

Lynne, hello! I made this bag about a month ago. It was a favorite of several of my friends and family. I made mine as a weekender bag. My daughter packed so many things in hers I could not believe how much it held! When I walked into her business with it to give it to her, a lady was there who saw it and ordered one on the spot!! Not even trying to sell one, I was amazed. Plus, this was my first sale!!! I contacted this lady a while after delivering it to her and she was in love with it and how well it held up. Thank you, thank you Lynne!

Thank you Lynne. I am a huge fan of yours. I especially like the way you have answered some technical questions I had on a pattern, I believe it was this bag or the Lillyanne. You are marvelous with a huge heart to not only teach us but to encourage people to sell their finished items. Now that is generous! Stay well and I hope the grandbaby is well. Love, Jeanette

Searched for ages to find a tutorial on making a changing bag as I have only started to learn to sew on a machine after decades as a way to cope with the stress of Covid.
Recently found out I am going to be a Granny in January for the 1st time. I can’t see them as they live in Ireland and I can’t travel from the UK due to travel restrictions so I wanted to make something very special for my son and girlfriend. Your tutorial on this bag was amazing and walked me through how to make it. Thank you so much. I would love to share photos of it with you but I don’t know how to.

A water-proof and/or mesh pocket would add a lot of functionality to the bag. Most diaper bags have a pocket for a changing pad, too, which would go nicely along that lining side opposite the two pockets.

I think when I give this one a go. I'll add an extra D ring hanger for my keys. I can not stand having to go looking for my keys. (usually in the far corner under all the other junk) Since my daughter just turned 17, this would work better as a crochet bag. With this many pockets I won't have to carry my hand bag as well. Looks like those elastic panels inside would be perfect for holding yarn balls, and the room on the inside would hold a decent sized project. Zipper closure should keep the cats out of mischief.

Vicki, do you still have a Etsy shop, I have not been able to find it. Love your tutorial, I have made three bags.
